Louie watched his entire family disappear in a flash. He panicked and began to send the people back their own timeline. This should work, right? So why hasn’t his family ‘flashed’ back yet?

The retired sailor fiddled with his wings on the table as he swallowed a lump in his throat and formulated his words. "It was… a shock to hear that you all had vanished…It took me over a week to fully realize you guys weren’t coming back. Or if you were coming back at all" his hands gripped together as he mumbled the last part.
Huey leaned forward in his chair and narrowed his eyes in confusion, "But uncle Donald, we've only been gone for a day?"
Donald looked at his eldest nephew with a sad smile, "Oh Huey… it may only seem like that to you all… but it's actually been 10 years…"
