Summary
“We will try to do better,” Buck says, even though he barely believes the words.
“Yeah,” Eddie agrees. “Like I said, it won’t happen again.”
“It won’t,” Chimney nods. “Because I’m sending you both on a wellness retreat.”
Or; Buck and Eddie aren’t getting along after Eddie returns from El Paso. Chimney has the clever idea to send them on a LAFD wellness retreat for firefighters that are having problems in their partnerships.
So why when Buck and Eddie arrive are all their fellow firefighters in relationships?

Summary
“I found an arm.”
Silence rings loud and clear on the other end. Distantly, Eddie picks up on the sound of Buck’s blinker.
“Pardon?”
“I found an arm,” Eddie says again. He’s still staring at it. Its fingers are adorned in rings, but the rest of it is naked. A naked arm. Bare in death like it was in birth.
“An arm?” Buck repeats, slow, sounding out each letter like he’s not sure he’s heard Eddie right.
“An arm,” Eddie confirms grimly. The arm does not bode well for the rest of his afternoon—the word arm doesn’t even sound real anymore. Unfortunately, the arm is real. Right there. “In a barrel.”
He can imagine Buck’s blank, perplexed face vividly. “A barrel?”
“Are you gonna keep repeating everything I say?”
Or: Eddie finds a severed arm at the farmer’s market. Day: ruined.

“Parrotfish have teeth in their throats,” Buck said.
Christopher looked at him. “Why do you know that?”
Buck looked back. “Why don’t you?”
“They make sand,” Buck told Theo.
“The fish make sand?” Theo asked.
“They eat little pieces of coral and then the parts they don’t use come back out as sand.”
There was a pause.
Theo’s nose wrinkled.
“Out their butt?”
Buck glanced at Eddie.
Eddie folded his arms. “You started this.”
“Basically,” Buck admitted.
Theo stared down through the glass at the parrotfish.
“Poop beach.”
Christopher chuckled.
