Summary
"Eddie stared at the ceiling of his hotel room, trying to convince himself he was making the right choice. Not that now was a good time to second guess that.
His fiancée was in a different room two floors above him with her bridesmaids. Buck, his best friend, was in the next room of their shared two bedroom suite, having taken the pull out couch so Chris could have his own space as well.
Eddie thought about Buck, he thought about how much more distant they’d gotten. He was surprised Buck had agreed to be a groomsman. Eddie didn’t deserve his support, not after what he’d done.
Eddie could still picture it, the night he’d ruined it all. The night he destroyed everything, all because he was a coward"oor Eddie rejects Buck because he's not ready to leave his closet & winds up engaged to a woman, who he abandons the morning of the wedding because he's running away with Buck.

Buck froze, processing the words leaving his mouth as they left it. He stared at Eddie, a hint of something across his face that Buck couldn’t process.
“Call you later Buck, stay safe.”
The call ended and Buck stayed frozen for a few minutes.
Did I really just say that Buck thought to himself, staring blankly at his phone. He couldn’t decide what was worse; the fact that he slipped and said it or the fact that Eddie didn’t say it back. Buck skidded to a halt, horror etched across his face. “Ed-Eddie,” he stammered. “Please, just… I’ll block his number, I’ll delete the thread, just… Stop scrolling and give me my phone. Please.”
“Relax Buck,” Eddie retorted, rolling his eyes at him while still scrolling. “I may not be great with technology but I know how to block a conta—” and proceeded to choke on his own tongue.
Suddenly, it all fell into place: why Buck was so adamant about getting his phone back, why he didn't want Eddie to keep scrolling.
Because in Eddie Diaz’s hand was a picture of his best friend on his knees, dick in hand. His piercing blue eyes glancing up at the camera like they were looking right at him.
