Summary
After three years working as a dimensional inspector, Parrot has visited hundreds of worlds. The job is usually pretty simple.
So when he's assigned to investigate a universe classified as Unstable, Parrot expects the usual signs of disaster, reality fractures, monsters, collapsing dimensions, or at the very least something obviously wrong.

Ashen began whimpering and whining at his side, nosing and clawing at the rubble in a desperate attempt to free his trapped owner.
He stared down at him for a second, before snapping out of it, “Shit-” He flicked his wrist, searching his inventory.

Nothing. No pearls, no totems, nothing.
His eyes gaped even more, an actual, real look of terror enveloping his face.
For the first time—he couldn't get out of this.
He had no resources, he couldn't pull off some last second clutch, nobody was here to save him, either- as much was clear when he looked around at all the panicking soldiers surrounding him.
