Summary
Ferran almost found it comforting that she’d been traveling with someone and had never seen his face. Likewise, he’d never seen hers, and he never asked. Whether they had to share a bed or huddle together to escape an overnight ash storm, they respected each other’s privacy and refused to steal glances.
Each morning went exactly the same. Wake up—in separate rooms or just facing away from each other—eat something, and shove heads into helmets. Don’t turn around. Don’t let imaginations run wild. Never ponder whether your partner is exceedingly beautiful or something truly hideous. All she knew of him was his chitin armor, and all he knew of her was heavy Daedric plate.
And for Ferran, that was fine. Almost no one in Solstheim knew she was the Dragonborn of legend. They were lucky that the threat of Alduin had been thwarted before word even reached their shores. Most saw her as another Nord mercenary from the mainland. They heard her call herself “Ironblood” and decided immediately that she was far too intimidating to deal with. It was oddly refreshing to be looked at as just a sword arm again, instead of the world’s errand girl and problem solver. At this point, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Summary
A pregnant Soap is left behind to man the desk at base while the rest of 141 is out. He’s supposed to be doing easy, laid-back admin stuff, right? Not if an opportunistic enemy has their say. Much to their mistake, pregnant doesn’t mean invalid.
