Summary
Dream has a lot of work and is going crazy paying off his father's debt and paying for his sister's college tuition. A teenage vigilante and an annoying group of villains are definitely not helping his mental state. If in the process he has to investigate the mystery of Pandora's Vault, then this will be just one of his problems along with a broken coffee machine.

Summary
Dream is the best at everything, which is why he spends most of his time running through the forest, being hunted by his only friends. After Dream kills another dragon, however, he’s about to start his newest manhunt, when he and his friends find a mysterious portal. After entering it, Dream and the hunters find themselves in another world, this one with far less forgiving laws of life and death. What will happen when they realize that they aren’t the only versions of them in existence, and their alternates may not be quite as good of people as they are?
Aka Manhunt!Dream ends up in the Dream SMP, along with all five of his hunters. Stuff is going to happen.

“You want to try saying that again?”
It wasn’t aggressive but it was just enough to remind Dream that the man in front of him was still an infamous villain built like a tank.
Dream opened his mouth but nothing came out.
Technoblade waited.
“Go on,” the villain said. “Tell me I can’t stay.”
Dream stared at him.
Then he grumbled, “You can stay.”
Technoblade nodded, satisfied. “Good choice.”

Dream runs a quiet plant shop in the middle of a city constantly wrecked by heroes and villains. His only power is a strange "system" that gives him the most random information about the world around him.
It's mostly useless.
Until one morning when it informs him that a dying supervillain is bleeding out on his shop floor.
Instead of turning away, Dream saved one of the most dangerous villains in the city... But that same villain didn't want to leave just yet.
All Dream wanted was to sell plants.
Now he's harboring the most dangerous villain.
Can it get any worse? Most likely it will.

“How… long?” Dream asked, forcing his voice to remain steady. “Aren’t you — supposed to be in Pandora? What if —“
Sam took a step forward, and Dream broke off, shrinking back, hating how he was shrinking back. “Pandora’s Vault is compromised, thanks to your nonsense,” Sam growled. “For the time being, you will remain here, and you will behave, or there will be consequences.”

After Technoblade’s escape from Pandora, Sam decides that his prisoner is no longer secure in the Vault, and drags him off to his remote island, determined to keep him there, whatever the cost.

"It's a day like any other, nothing new, nothing special. He doesn't even remember when exactly it got bad again, but suddenly the days started to blur together until ‘today’ didn’t matter anymore because it's as repetitive as tomorrow. Every day he will wake up feeling tired, grab his phone and scroll through social media platforms for the next few hours. He doesn't even try to get up and make himself a meal most of the time, the mere thought of moving making him want to pull the sheets back over his head and fall into a chasm of unconsciousness again."
or; Dream's mental health is getting bad again and because of a very stupid and spontaneous idea, he is suddenly living with two childhood friends he hasn't seen in over five years. It makes everything so much more complicated than it has to be but Dream isn't sure if he actually regrets it.
