Summary
Namjoon knows, of course, how long Jungkook’s been in love with him. But he was just a kid back then, they both were, and Namjoon wasn’t ready to face what those feelings meant. He tried to keep Jungkook at arm’s length for both of their sakes, because Jungkook was still so young, and once Namjoon figured out that he wanted that, too, he still had to wait for Jungkook to grow up a little.
He didn’t mind waiting, in fact it was kind of like the longest foreplay of his life, all the little flirtings here and there, the innuendo they’d share when they were alone, the lingering touches. The build up is always Namjoon’s favorite part.
