The door, which he had finally come to, was quite suddenly slamming open. The important bit about this was that it was slamming open towards his face.
“Oh,” said Warabi, and managed to put his arms up before the three-inch-thick slab of metal rammed into him. Things went a bit blurry after that, but there was, thankfully, a snow drift that broke his fall. Of course.
There was someone talking, he was pretty sure. A voice on the deeper side, sounding very worried, but whatever it was they were saying was too fuzzy to understand. Apparently, he hadn’t put his arms up fast enough. Warabi, gazing blearily up at the falling snow, made a mental note to not run into any more metal doors for as long as he lived. His head hurt.

This year’s Squidmas concert goes a little off the rails when a snowstorm of massive proportions knocks the whole gig off the set list- it’s just not safe enough to crowd cod-knows how many people into a stadium in such conditions. So, no audience, but the performing bands are still in the building. Not that they have much choice in the matter, as they appear to be snowed in on all sides. But it’s comfortable enough in Starfish Mainstage's on-site living quarters to spend the night, so that they do, and comfortable it is- until the lights go out.

It’s the evening of October the 2nd, and a certain dynamically dysfunctional duo is on their way to a party.
Not just any party, though! The customary, SquidForce-organized-and-run, pre-collab artist celebration party! They were one out of two lucky bands chosen to play in the soundtrack of the Kensa-collab launch, and had been invited out to celebrate their success!
However, fate seems to have other plans for these two. And, whether the realization of such comes in the form of a familiar face or simply the current place, tonight will soon become one that neither of them will forget.
