Summary
Robby trails after him, dragging his fingers along the plus size section. His fingers dance along the lace and silk, rubbing appreciatively at the texture. Despite his interest in the softer materials, Robby finds his eyes pulled to the section closer to the back, near the more kinkier selections.
Leather, latex, and pvc sets all sit under the dim lights. Most of the audience seems to mainly be those interested in more alternative fashion, but Robby cannot help but hum under his breath as he takes it in. Dennis peaks up, following Robby’s gaze over towards the far corner of the store. He whistles, nudging Robby with his shoulder.
“You wanna check that section out?” He asks, knowing that if he outright asked Robby if he liked the section the older might shrivel and die of embarrassment. Not that Dennis minds, he’s into whatever Robby feels comfortable with and if that includes leather.
Well.
Who is Dennis to disagree with it? He benefits in this situation no matter what. After all, his end goal is to see Robby tower over him. Even more than usual, with the added inches coming from whatever heels they may pick out. Dennis is never more grateful that he’s been saving his paychecks until now.

There was weight to the words that Jack felt: he’d been there, been in the place where tired was the only word he could use even as he stared into the void and wondered what non-existence would be like. Used tired to both tell the world how ready he was to go and brush off the concern of those around him.
Felt so much bone-weary exhaustion that Robby had followed him home, curled up around him in his bed, and held him through the worst part of grief.
He hated tired.

When Robby starts his rotation at the ED he thinks he knows what to expect. At M.S. 4, the last rotation he needs is emergency medicine, but having done his last one in the ICU he figures he’s bringing in good experience. Some would call that cocky. Bratty, even. Robby argues that it’s not cockiness he’s packing, but intelligence. Core knowledge on the internal workings of medicine. His evaluations clearly reflect that, so if he has a bit of an ego he argues it’s well deserved.
Robby brings this attitude with him on his first day at PTMC. He’s in nice scrubs, comfy shoes he’s broken in, and has his notepad ready for any questions. He holds himself with an air of confidence because he knows he’s able to handle this.
That quickly proves to be wishful thinking.
The senior attending, Dr. Dennis Whitaker, is an interesting man to say the least.
