Summary
Gale Dekarios does not come to Greyvale Manor looking for ghosts. He comes to outrun one. Recently widowed after his wife, Mystra, died in a devastating fire, he buries himself in science to explain grief, memory, and everything the mind refuses to release. When the mysterious owner of Greyvale invites him to investigate claims of paranormal activity, Gale accepts, hoping to rebuild his career and escape the shadow that still follows him.
