Han pasado varias semanas desde la derrota de X.A.N.A. La vida parece volver a la normalidad en Kadic, pero Jérémie detecta anomalías imposibles dentro del superordenador. No son ataques... sino fragmentos de memoria que deberían haber desaparecido para siempre.
Mientras el grupo investiga el origen de esas señales, Aelita empieza a sentirse extrañamente conectada con Lyoko otra vez. Odd es el primero en darse cuenta de que algo no va bien y decide permanecer a su lado, aunque ni siquiera él entiende por qué le preocupa tanto verla sufrir.
