Summary
Just before the final fight against Charon Industries on Chorus, during Epsilon’s shattering, Epsilon accidentally fucks up with Wyoming’s armour enhancement in the Meta’s- now Tucker’s- suit and gets sent back in time to when he first got implanted into Washington.
Scared he’ll fuck up again and make Washington go insane, he tries to keep his distance while being in Wash’s mind. But that only makes him all the more curious to Wash.
Can Epsilon figure out that Project Freelancer and the Mother of Invention is set to crash and burn in weeks time? And will he stop it? Or just try to figure out how to go back to his own time so he can figure out if he broke Tucker in his shattering just like he did to Washington? Idk let’s find out!

Waking up after sacrificing himself for his friends was the last thing Epsilon expected to happen. He wasn’t supposed to wake up. He certainly wasn’t supposed to wake up in control of a comatose Freelancer that had been listed as dead eight years earlier.

Agent Maine is a Spartan-II that was reassigned to Project Freelancer upon its creation in 2544. He's been trained as a soldier in the ways of war since he was six with other children his age and has learned to communicate in ways only other Spartans can easily pick up on. Nobody else can understand him. Nobody, that is, until the new Agent Washington is accepted into the Project and is determined to befriend him. Maine quickly learns there was much that his Spartan training didn't cover.
