Summary
Seven years after Sarah ran the Labyrinth, on Halloween night, she is kidnapped by the Pumpkin King. She is taken to the Underground to stand before a council of immortal rulers. Rulers who have spent centuries watching, waiting, and quietly shaping the fate of the Underground. While questions of law, duty, and old loyalties threaten to divide the kingdoms, Sarah finds herself caught between a past she cannot remember and a future she never imagined.
Every familiar place awakens another fragment of memory. The Fireys. The Bog of Eternal Stench. The Goblin City. A crystal ballroom. A single peach. A voice she Jareth himself...
At the center of it all waits Jareth. He remembers everything. Sarah remembers nothing.
As buried memories begin to surface, Sarah must decide whether the greatest adventure of her life truly ended seven years ago… or whether it was only ever the beginning.
(This is a story I wrote years ago and published on FanFiction.com under T.E.Patrick - Titled a Halloween Underground. It was a short story that I've decided to greatly embellish.)

Thirteen years after her journey in the labyrinth to save Toby, Sarah is having trouble getting her lines right for her wedding. She goes into the woods to practice, only to end up marrying a very different groom, the fae from her past, Jareth the Goblin King. Taken back to the Underground, Sarah must figure how to return home, or perhaps being by Jareth's side as his queen is where she belongs. Maybe she can also learn the true nature of the labyrinth as it is more than the fantastical world of magic that it seems to be.
Inspired by the Greco-Roman mythology, particularly the myth of Hades and Persephone and the Minotaur. Also inspired by Corpse Bride.
