But it wasn’t enough. Despite his efforts, he was of the forest, a wild man hardly human himself, a lowly beast that, no matter how hard he tried, would never be one of them.
The best that he could hope for was that they’d be merciful, and make his end swift.

Some years later, Tarzan is threatened by the leopard Sabor under the orders of Shere Khan the tiger and finds himself separated from his family when he then befriends a lion cub named Simba. Together, they get tangled up in a wild adventure as they encounter some of the jungle's inhabitants while Tarzan's family and teacher attempt to find him before Shere Khan's lackeys.
