Summary
Ever since he was born Charles had always felt the need to be the perfect person. Perfect son to Alice and Hal. Perfect brother to Polly and Betty. Perfect student. Perfect athlete. Perfect Uncle. Smartest, most attractive, most friends, most accomplishments. In fewer words? Everything. Was. Perfect.
He was top of his class, all the way from elementary to high school, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. He played multiple sports. Baseball, basketball, and wrestling, while also maintaining a job at the Bijou- or the local movie theatre in Riverdale.
Once he graduated, he went to Riverdale Community College with a full ride scholarship and graduated with Associate degrees in both Art and Science. After that, he attended NYU and studied Criminal Justice, also on a full ride scholarship for academics.
Now? He had recently graduated with his Bachelors. He had also just finished FBI training at the academy, and was currently working under a pair of agents to work his way up. So far? Everything was looking perfect. That was, for now, at least. Little did he know that was all about to change.

“Um,” Betty continues, growing quieter. “Shit. I didn’t think it would be this hard. It’s Polly.”
“Your sister? Is she okay?” Polly, dead, murdered, with cancer, victim to another cult. He can’t even picture her face and he hates himself for it.
“She’s dead.” Just a statement, two words. She says it almost like it’s simple, but her voice wavers and catches. “And my mom…” Betty breaks off and sobs.
“What do you need?” FP asks.
“I don’t know,” Betty whispers. “I can’t fix this. She’s dead.”
“Okay,” FP says. “Do you need me to come over?”
