Summary
When they set out to do a Special for charity, they don’t expect that Hammond will write a song as good as he does. James doesn’t know that it will force him to see Hammond differently than he ever thought possible, and he isn’t sure he’s ready to confront that particular truth. Hammond thinks he’s ready for more, but James isn’t sure.
Feelings get hurt, lines get drawn, but they can’t seem to escape eachothers orbit even after their tentative relationship implodes.

Summary
After being violently assaulted by his ex boyfriend, Hammond is still dealing with the trauma of the assault and keeping it a secret from everyone around him. At his therapists suggestion, he has started to write about his experiences and putting his thoughts and feelings to music. Someone in the sound team is helping him with that. It’s cathartic. It’s helping.
James and Jeremy don’t know any of that. What they do know is that they’ve stumbled across an artist that they enjoy the sound of and that every time they play his music around Hammond he looks sick to his stomach. They find that amusing, and make a fun little game of playing the songs to annoy him. Hammond doesn’t know how to tell them the truth of why he doesn’t want them to listen to the songs without outing himself as the writer or revealing the truth of the reason he started to write them in the first place.

This is actually part 10 (8 and 9 are not yet published), I've been so inspired to write this part, I've put others to one side. I know that I've not been around for a long time, chronic writers block it me but ideas started swirling round again.

Basically. This has been in my head since the news broke about Jeremy being sick. What I take from this whole situation is that he must have a beautifully loyal group around him because this has been kept well hidden since last year. All the crew, all the people involved, not one of them took a quick buck by telling the papers. I love that.
Anyway, this is how I imagine that one version of the horrible conversation went. Awful title, I couldn’t think of anything better though I’m afraid. Not beta’d, all mistakes are my own.

This is the story I planned to write when starting A Different Job Opportunity, which accidentally turned into a love story and the start of my Penny and Jeremy series. Set fairly early in the TG era, ignoring RL partners, other than Andy's.
Jessica is in a deadend job when she sees an advert for a PA job at the BBC and decides to go for it. She is in her late twenties living and working in London and has never watched TG or even owns a car. She interprets her role in a different way than others have previously, especially when it comes to helping them relax pre and post-filming.
