“It’s a full moon tonight,” Peter said, as if it should mean something special to Tony.
“...And?” Tony asked slowly.
"A lot of babies are born on full moons,” Peter explained, pouting a little when Tony sent him a skeptical look. “It's a thing, trust me,” Peter huffed. "And Andrea said any day now at my last appointment a few days ago so…” he trailed off.
"So,” Tony started, getting up and walking over to the younger man. “You think it's gonna be tonight?" Tony finished amusedly, trailing his fingers down over the large swell of Peter’s stomach before resting both of his hands on his fiance’s hips.
"Yes,” Peter said firmly. “At least, I hope it will be," Peter amended in a small voice, shuffling closer and leaning up to clasp his hands together behind Tony's neck. "And… y’know just in case it is maybe we should make the most of our last few hours being alone together," Peter finished the sentiment with a firm kiss melting against his fiance when Tony slipped his hands underneath the stretched out T-shirt Peter was wearing to rub at his lower back.

They may have been living together for the past few years but something about this was… different. The penthouse and compound just didn’t feel like home. Not really. And the ridiculously huge mansion in Malibu that they used to occasionally stay at definitely didn’t. This did, though.
Because it was theirs. They chose this place together. Tucked back away from the busy and loud roads of NYC. No neighbors for miles. Sat on the lake. Nice and cozy and theirs.
The feeling of being home was instant. As soon as the last piece of furniture was set down where Peter directed. Boxes still piled up everywhere with decor, clothes, books, tech, and other small stuff. Which all of that stuff could wait because both of them were exhausted after a long day of moving and Peter just wanted some time with his soon-to-be husband. May insisted that she could take Ben for the night so it was just the two of them.

The Iron King was many things, but tactful wasn’t one of them.
The slave looked at the King with a closed expression, saying nothing and giving even less away. He was handsome in a traditional way: with blue eyes and dirty-blond hair, built in a way that suggested he was used to winning the fight. The King could see why his General - who had never really seemed bothered by his bachelor status – could not take his eyes from him.
Something else to be packed away for later, he decided.
The King nodded, trying to ignore the piercing blue stare. “But I know someone who will. Winter.”The General snapped to attention with a small straightening of his spine, finally taking his attention away from the Omega before them.
“Escort us to the Omega Court: we’re going to see Peter.”
