Billy Batson always hated winter, maybe it was the biting cold, or maybe it was the familial warmth everybody else seemed to have, he didn’t know, but what he did know was that this winter was different. His first winter with the Vasquez’. He actually sort of liked it? Playing in the snow with his new siblings and not being borderline-freezing for once, and actually getting to celebrate the winter holidays with a family was all new to him, but he liked it. Maybe, just maybe, winter would become his new favourite.

“So what you're saying is that there are other people with powers here?” Mike asked.
Beverly nodded. “Yeah. Pretty much. Just one as far as we know, but there could be more.”
