Because I decided on this at some point, I'm going to write down several scenes regarding CatraCatra (Catra and The Witness/"All of Catra's Worst Issues × A Fucktillion", specifically a weird 'ship'.
No.
No not a ship as in you should actively support them getting together. I'd rather you didn't really. Witty is an abusive prick(s) and Catra has the special misfortune of being similar in terms of the emotional narrative and their motivations. It is a ship insofar as they... like... have a relationship (Witty replaced literally everyone, that is not healthy and is, in fact, abusive (shocker)). No, I do not support this dynamic, it's just been in my head for a hot minute)Heads up for: fluff involving The Witness, light PTSD to frame the fluff from the start, Witty redesign (LOOK AT IT'S CANON DESIGN I AM BEGGING YOU HOW IS THAT THING THREATENING ITS SO ADORABLE) (it is now a magicat (... this is important for the monster form scenes)), and Catra redesign (she's a disciple, Witty has a very dripped out design for any disciple, mostly involving reds (Catra: "oh hey something I actually wear. What REALLY happened and how??
FIRST we're going to get the ship working back at Etheria, and it might be a while. Don't worry, I'm not a quitter.(Mixed it up with He-Man in later chapters, but since it doesn't have a reboot like She-Ra, the history WILL have adaptations, and the characters from He-Man do not look EXACTLY like they do in the original series. They're good, though, don't worry.)
FINALLY we get to see more of The First Ones, understand where did they go and of the planet Eternia (Adora's birth planet and the password for a lot of shit at Etheria).

No matter how hard you tried, with your healing meditations and so called “herbal medications” that you were constantly suggested, the dreams were still inescapable. It wasn’t that they were particularly haunting— because you lived through the internal combat with yourself and Adora, the hurt you inflicted, the hurt you endured.
No, rather than that, there was an aspect to them that wasn’t pinpointable. That unsettling feeling prickling the back of your neck, a constant reminder of who you once were and what you once did.
Or Catra's past trouble her through dreams that begin to evoke feelings and seep into her day to day life with her relationship with Adora.

Maybe it's parental hormones causing delusions or the fact that Catra never speaks more than two full sentences to her subjects, but people don't seem to realize that every kid looks the same. Seriously, every single one. The moment you crop out their outfit and slap them against the same soft gradient background, they all lose their spark of individuality, dulled to a simmering, unoffensive caricature of youth. It's kind of horrifying.
