Welcome to the dual-processor, jagged-polygon trenches of 1995–1997. Matt is an old-school gamer who has owned a Sega Saturn since Christmas of '96. James is ten years younger, easily fatigued, and highly prone to using bizarrely specific metaphors involving erectile dysfunction and public pool incidents.
Together, they are reviewing Matt's old Saturn collection, dragging themselves through digitized dumpster fires like Battle Monsters, soul-crushing mutant rodeos, and existential crises masquerading as fighting games. Come for the hyper-specific 90s nostalgia; stay for the broken controller rage, the absolute refusal to stop jumping into uppercuts, and the haunting specter of a bloodthirsty giant banana.
Because hitting people in 2D is rad, but doing it on a failed, misunderstood underdog of a console is art.

Summary
I have finally managed to do this little project that I have been working on (in which this took longer than I originally thought). Just for fun I tried this idea out since I have played Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 last month and I tried the idea of giving Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 some MVC3-styled dialogue. This is a mostly comedic fic of playable MVC2 characters getting generic/specialized Match Start/Victory/Win Quotes like the playable characters from MVC 3.
