Which is how Dennis Whitaker reluctantly finds himself in a country bar. Drunk and starting to miss home, when all of the sudden they start playing his song.
Robby had no idea how hard it would be to keep himself in check when going out with the younger members of the ER staff... but when Whitaker can move his hips like that... maybe it's worth it to risk it all.

Different hard days called for different kinds of recuperation. Some nights it was take-out and binging Murder She Wrote, Friends, or Love Island. (Take your pick.) Other nights it was a really long shower, and a really long call with a friend. Sometimes, their little beer tailgate in the park across the street. Most nights, for most of the Pitt residents, it was curling up at home and passing out after their at home duties were attended to. And some nights, it meant a night on the town with the coworkers. This was one of those nights.
After a hard shift, everyone is going out to the bar.

There’s a look in Eddie’s eyes now, one that Buck hadn’t quite seen before this trip. Or had he? Did it just not mean to him then what he realizes, or thinks, it means now? Regardless, it confirms a thought that has been niggling at the back of his mind all night.
