Daisuke always loved when Ken laughed. When he hid it politely behind his hand, when he tried to contain and only revealed his amusement with an uncontrollable smile, when he couldn't restrain himself and burst into melodic laughter, it made his chest flutter and left a tingly feeling in his belly and his groin.
He thought maybe it was pride, but it didn't only happen when Daisuke was the one who made him laugh. And then he realized it had to be happiness—for Ken that he had come so far since they'd first met, that he felt comfortable enough he could laugh, and for himself (and anyone else in the vicinity) that they were blessed enough to experience it.
But he'd never heard Ken laugh like this before, never seen Ken this pink-cheeked and uncoordinated and, yes, giggly.
