"“It is just not my day, is it?” Fundy spoke aloud to himself, as clouds of red smoke obscured his vision, and his jacket. First, he had woken up to find a spider had gotten into his home in the night, and secondly, he had found a lot of his raw materials had been swiped in the night. And now, fate is testing him once again, and when Fundy had grabbed his signature jacket, the precise redstone wiring cracked against the corner of his bed, scattering the thick dust into clouds around his head."
Vampire Fundy breaks his jacket, gets a visit from his ghostly dad, and gets a visit from his highschool sweetheart who he hasn't properly seen in a long time...
This is a prequel to my other fic "Vampire Fundy", but can be read as a standalone. This fic can be read as either romantic or platonic, but in no world should this be read as a healthy relationship. also, Wilbur Soot supporters you're NOT welcome here.

That seems like plenty to know about a guy you’ve just met in his opinion. Some things nobody knew about Fundy were that his amnesiac father’s ghost haunts his every move, his hybrid fox features are fake, and Fundy is a vampire."
