Summary
A war-torn world causes the collapse of society. Forced to rebuild itself after generations, a settlement comes across a robot built by the Ancient society that once was. Despite its purpose and use for war, it's original directive is lost to time and it is forced to find a new one. Meeting and creating bonds with the people of the settlement, it can begin to find its own primary directive to abide and live by.
