Chiaroscuro—the use of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition.

Gotham is a filthy city, filled with sharp-edged, unpleasant people, but it works. They're making it work.

Notes:

Ostensibly a collection of batfam stories, but mostly just an excuse to write Damian character studies and BatCat. Draws on comics canon (especially New52 Batman and Robin, Robin: Son of Batman, and Super Sons), but I'll also change things on a whim. Best description at this point is probably "non-canonical explanations for canonical events."

Fics are arranged chronologically, but can be read separately. Updated irregularly.
