Summary
A somewhat bittersweet but cheerful story where Reze and Denji run away for good. Two traumatized, hardened teenagers in Gotham, trying to find a life for themselves. A heart for a bonus, and insane superpowers (that are not for the faint of heart.)
- Successfully, Reze brings Denji out of Japan…onto a different continent, and into a different world altogether.
Life is unproblematic in the swirling streets of the city—most of the time. At night, Denji has been seeing the flashing silhouettes in the shape of wings on the more often than not, perhaps the bat devil has cursed him as a way of revenge, he believes. In the morning on her commutes, the lingering feeling of being keenly observed never leaves Reze's spine, perhaps the ghost of her past still clings to her.
