Chief Alchemist Albedo’s latest experiments have proven fruitless. Lucky for him, Rhinedottir’s Second Subject—now known as Albedo “Two”—volunteers to help.
Albedo is happy to see Two's return to alchemy. And Two’s just plain tired of poring through obituaries, looking for more dead lives to take as his own. Ostensibly, it’s a mutually beneficial scientific collaboration between two equals of alchemic strength.
