He can see the podium with him in the middle. The apex of everyone’s attention, Jobe in the crowd somewhere - maybe getting the silver if he’s feeling generous. Looking up at him, seeing Jude’s success. Jude first, always.
“You’re a prick.” It’s hardly a threat. Jobe’s little kid voice. “Eng-land. Eng-land.” Jude half spins in a circle chanting again and gets knocked almost off balance when Jobe barges past him.
