    Thank you for your praise! I was worried that the prose fell flat, so seeing your endorsement of it is reassuring. Also, I'm glad that the other aspects, especially the early 1970s setting, worked well. The mythic feeling was what I was striving for above all else, though--knowing that that succeeded is satisfying enough.
