    To be honest I saw your story while going threw my favorites, saw how long it had be sense you updated, and had the urge to review, so I can't exactly remember how Scott acted. I plan on re-reading soon though. Personally I don't dislike Scott, nor do I think he's dumb like others seem to, but I feel that he has bad priorities and gets away with WAY too much. I can sort of understand the priorities thing, anyone who's a teenage or been a teenager go's threw times of bad priorities, but Scott isn't just a teenager. Hes a teen werewolf fighting a supernatural turf war. Though I will say I've liked Season 3's Scott a WHOLE lot better then One and Two. The main thing, to me, was they behind the scenes plot he made with Deaton to deal with Gerard and how he seemed to ignore the Stiles beat down. We can hope there was a unseen conversation about it but it still bugs me. But yeah not gonna hate on you for using Scott for conflict. At least he's kept in character, unlike what people tend to do with Isaac.

    Sorry in advance for the rant. Everyone makes Isaac this cute and cuddly, curled big eyed puppy. But he's not. In canon he's a jackass. with no self-control anger wise that's still on the power trip he got sent on after receiving the bite. Yes he's an abuse victim but still that only can go so far to excuse his behavior. I wish I would see a story that actually portrays him as he is in canon and is not distracted by his adorableness. Again sorry for the rant.

    But yeah do consider bringing back Peter. He's always good for stirring shit up. Hell just look at the latest episode.

      I agree with you on both fronts! I do like Scott's character now but back then? He was kind of a jackass and the people started hating on people who liked Stiles better, saying that SCOTT was the main character. And I was like sure, yeah he is, but jeff's written him like this, it's not our perceptions or our love of stiles or Derek that's making us see Scott like that, it's kind of fact that he was kind of an asshole in the first season and he was duplicitous in the second season. And I must admit I like reading adorable Isaac but in terms of writing him I try to stay out of the tropes that the fandom has created for him because he much more capable and mot as much the victim then people write him.
      But I will say this for fics that are alternate universe. because it is called alternate for a reason and it's why I like writing them because I can change something and shift things to suit my style of writing and it's the reason why it's hard for me to write this fic because it is (relatively) in canon referring to its characters so I'm trying really hard to keep it in character whilst still being true to the changes that I've made! Phew!
      This is great btw, I love discussing fic verse canon with someone who knows what they're talking about!

        Thanks. To be honest all the infighting over Scott or Sterek or hell even Dennifer (not gonna pretend I like that one) is a reason I don't have a Tumblr. I'm afraid I would be way to mouthy about my opinions. But yes I agree completely with you about the main character parts. Scott may be the official main character but Stiles and Derek are the ones the fans have taken to heart. In fandom Stiles is the main character. Personally I think the fans reactions help affect the changes in Scott's personality and actions this season. Don't get me wrong I love adorable Isaac too but sometimes I think its overdone, like Pack mom Stiles. I love both in fandom but sometimes their overdone. Its like Dark Harry. Its a cliche but a favorite cliche, though it grinds on you sometimes. And having the same character as the victim gets a bit much.

        Oh I agree! Alternate universe fics are some of my favorites and I get where your coming from about sticking to canon. Canon is used as the foundation for fanfiction but its nice to be able to change things that you dislike about it. Like Erica and Boyds deaths or Jackson's departure to London. I wouldn't try too hard to keep all the characters super close to canon. After all they went threw different problems then they did in canon so the character development, and personalities wouldn't be the same as canon.

        I've enjoyed it too. I've talked to a lot of people on A03 about Teen wolf the past few weeks and its shocking how nice everyone is! That's what I love about fanfiction. By and large most people in fanfiction are so supportive and respectful of each other. Its a shame more people aren't like that in RL.

        So what's your opinions on this season? I've heard or rather read, a lot of views and was wondering about yours.

          Yeah I tend to stay out of all the drama in the tw fandom and try and read as much meta and ff that I can! Some people are completely brilliant with their symbolism, myth and names and stuff and its completely fascinating to read! I love it! But my last pet peeve in ff is 'pack mum stiles' or the over feminization of his character because sometimes it just makes me cringe to see occ like that. I mean he's a great character but I don't think he's adorable nor do I think he's particularly maternal. If anyone's being maternal this season it's totally Scott.
          I must admit I'm really enjoying this season. I know some people are complaining about plot holes and other stuff buts its completely engaging me at the moment, motel California is possibly one of my favorite episodes of the whole lot!
          And I like the directions the characters are going in at the moment especially stiles, Derek and Scott and I'm always surprised with what Jeff comes up with! So I'm liking it a lot! What about you? Enjoying it so far?

            Oh I know right?! Some of the things I've read on Tumblr are shear brilliance! Things you wouldn't think off until you see or read it then its like a slap upside the heard NCIS style. I can't count how many times I've found myself thinking "Now why didn't I think of that?" But I agree 100% with the Pack mom Stiles. Some fics that use that motif are absolutely amazing but most have me shaking my Laptop going "You made Stiles a girl with a Dick and no boobs. Stiles is a man!" Its so annoying. Its like those Harry Potter Stories that make him so beautiful he might as well be a girl. If I wanted to read a girl!Harry or girl!Stiles fic I would. Don't get me wrong I love the Drag queen stories but enough is enough with the Pack Mom. Its a cliche that's been overused. And yeah if anyone's gonna act maternal its gonna be Scott, with his way of trying to get everyone to work together.

            As for the season, I don't know how I'm feeling about it to be honest. On one hand I'm enjoying the new information we've been learning and the character growth but on the other hand I have to admit I dislike Jennifer and some of the plot holes are annoying me, not to mention the constant mind-fuckery. I know the writers are really good at their jobs, I've watched the first two seasons after all, so most of it is on purpose for some reason. Its like putting together a puzzle without having the picture on the box, though you already have the edge pieces done. And I admit my hope of Canon Sterek did contribute to my dislike of Jennifer but my main problem with her is that she has no personality or character development. She's like a Bella Swan reject that wants to be the heroine in her own love story, though the fact that she thought Romeo & Juliet was a good example of Romance and faking death makes me both dislike her more and be more suspicious. Then there's the fact that she didn't know how to teach The Crucible. Its a typical thing to learn in High School English so what type of English teacher can't teach it? And the fact that she just happened to be at the School at, what 10 or 11 at night and that she argued with Scott after he was called out of class by his mom. His MOM! I've never had a teacher question a call from home. She's just super sketch to me. And I think she's the Darach. Wow that rant came out of nowhere. Sorry about that.

            Look at the sleeve of Jennifer's jacket and then look at the gif of Lydia being garroted. Their the SAME! It's pretty obvious who the Darach is.

            One of the ideas is that the entire season is a dream, a complete mindfuck buy the Darach. Another is pointing out the parallels between this season and Silent Hill 2. here's the link's if your interested.             Might be a bit of info overload and I apologize for that. Bu I agree with the dream parts. The entire season has been a constant mind-fuck, with a bunch of little things that don't mean much individually but make a pretty picture when put together. The fact that A LOT of scenes seem to be repeats of past seasons clinch it for me. The scene where Derek collapses next to Jennifer's car is an obvious repeat of the scene when Derek collapses in front of Stiles' jeep. That's of the top of my head. But yeah there's definitely something something going on this season and I for one can't wait to see what it is, and if any of my theories ended up being right, like I was about the eye thing. I guessed that it had something to do with murder and I was sort of right.

              Whew ok, so i read all of those posts! I had already read the one about the dream plot and i totally agree with bits of it, there has been so much symbolism about dreams and sleeping (how many scenes have we got now about characters sleeping then waking up?) like even I've picked up on that.

              The only thing i wouldn't like about it all being or bits of it being a dream would be the fact that all those stereky scenes didn't happen in real life, that would be really disappointing from a shipper standpoint!! And i most definitely think Jennifer is involved somehow (like she probably is the darach and i've read even more meta after monday's episode that she might even be a reincarnation of paige coming back to take revenge or something? they said stuff about the fact that she died under that special druid meeting oak) I have also read meta that says that paige may have in fact been Peter's first love and that it wasn't derek's story he was telling but his own, here's the link - http://shipsanddip. /post/56256838694/the-visionary-peter-hale-why-last-nights-episode
              Sooooooo there's that too.

              And that was some keen eyes to catch the sleave and the same sleave being seen on the arm of someone strangling Lydia! I really liked that one!

              And lastly the parallels drawn between Silent Hill 2 and the TW story arc are pretty interesting (probably more so if i knew more about it), not as convincing as the other meta but still really valid.

              And i think the parallels between this season and the last two are really important (i don't know why but now you've mentioned it they seem super important!) I seriously cant wait to see how it all unravels and who was right about stuff and who was wrong, seriously though, the TW fandom is so freaking smart, i woudn't be surprised if someones already figured it all out already! And i personally think that's why the fandom is so rabid and obsessed and completely into it, because its so fun to try and work out the plot, put together the pieces, and as you said do some CSI shit to figure it all out. It makes it all so freaking enjoyable and i commend Jeff for his ability to keep everyone on their toes!

              And you figured out the eye color thing? That's awesome, i was completely convinced it was genetic and that somehow Jackson was related to Peter Hale. The only other thing that's nagging me now is the timeline and everyone's ages. That's kind of a mystery as well.
