    I never commented on this when I first read it but I came back to reread because it really stuck with me. Such a tense and interesting plot concept and Dick’s characterization was perfect. The ending kills me; I want to know what happened so bad, how the hell Slade got out and how him coming after Dick again made Dick feel (fucking awful obviously). And like another person said, I’d love to know what was going on behind the mirror.

      Thank you so, so much. I'm so glad you think it's in character, and that you liked it enough to want more!! I have a couple half-baked, partially-written ideas for a behind-the-mirror kind of story, so we'll see if I ever actually form something coherent and publish it. If I do, it'll be to the "Sladick Fics" series.
