So, sure. Maybe he's not in the best head space right now — but 'suicidal'? Ladybug's certainly just reading too deeply into things. But if her concern for Chat Noir's mental state is enough to get her reaching out, well, he won't turn down the opportunity to chat with a friend. It's some good old Adrien angst, with Ladybug realizing that Chat's severely depressed and even suicidal, and doing what she can to help him, even though he thinks he isn't worth the help. I particularly loved the irony whenever Ladybug and Chat Noir discussed their relationships with their romantic partners, never realizing that they're dissecting their own relationship. I also like that while Adrien's issues are the main focus, Marinette is also shown to have some severe anxiety and self-worth issues that Adrien does his best to help with.

I love Senti angst fics, and this is no exception. I love how Kagami, Felix, and Adrien band together as best they can in such horrible circumstances, and how it makes sense that they resent the heroes, even though on some level they know they don't deserve it. And when Kagami sees a ray of hope, she takes it.
Fair warning: Tomoe's and Gabriel's abuse is more severe than it is in canon, and Amelie... well, she isn't as bad as them, but she's definitely not a good parent in this. It also ends on a somewhat ambiguous, but hopeful, note. So if you want everything tied up in a neat little bow, this ain't the fic for you.

I loved Alix and Luka in this. Alix's role in the actual plot is small, but her annoyance at her future selves for refusing to tell her stuff is priceless.
As for Luka, I liked getting to see a bit of his own struggles, and a possible future if he HAD been able to get the earrings from Ladybug.

So this is an interesting take with Gabriel. He's not a good father... but he's a far better one than Colt. Which leaves Felix ping-ponging between begging for his approval, and wanting nothing to do with him. Gabriel himself seems to have a hard time navigating that, switching between being overly harsh, to being gentle and caring.
I like seeing how the two of them interact, and how they change over time. Neither of them are too sure about this relationship, or know how to do it well. And Gabriel especially isn't exactly father of the year. But they both ultimately care for each other, and Gabriel, albeit gradually and with many steps back along the way, changes for the better.

It makes sense that Adrien might have some issues bound up with food, given his work as a model. And with his diet being one of the few things he can control, in a world where he's lost a lot of certainty with his dad dying... well, it's no wonder he ends up with an eating disorder. Unlike in a lot of other fics, though, he actually goes to therapy, which helps with a lot of things! Though it can only do so much when he finds out what Marinette's been keeping hidden...
I really like this fic, with Adrien getting to work through his issues, and having his own feelings and viewpoint respected.
Oh yeah, it's M-rated, but I think that's only because of the serious subject matter, nothing really M-rated happens in the fic.

So, this is the whole "Adrien gets an eating disorder" plot. I like some of the nuances here, like Adrien not just wanting to be skinny, but trying to maintain an optimal weight - though him partially trying to reduce muscle mass because some of it in the wrong place not being good for a model was definitely a bad thing. But it's not just him trying to be as skinny as he can be.
And it not just being about conforming to Gabriel's expectations, but also about Adrien exerting control over his circumstances where he can, especially with all the uncertainty in his life after his father dies... I could see that happening.

I liked seeing a Little Mermaid story from the Prince Eric stand-in's perspective, since it's normally told from Ariel's counterpart. I especially liked seeing Adrien's thoughts when it came to Lila entering his life and manipulating him (she's the Ursula stand-in). Naturally, Marinette wasn't going to stand for that, whatever the consequences.

I thought this fic dealt really well with the potential fallout of Chat finding out that Ladybug lied to him about what happened with Monarch. He's allowed to be angry, to call her out on what she did wrong, on how she didn't have the right to make the decisions she did. But still loving her nonetheless, and wanting to reconcile.

This fic's M-rated, which I'm guessing is because Nathalie was pressured to get a hysterectomy, so warning for that potential trigger. Overall though, I'd only consider it to be a T-rated fic.
I really like how this fic goes over Nathalie's early life, the expectations that were placed on her, how she couldn't live up to them, and how that's colored the rest of her life - and how Adrien doesn't care whether Nathalie meets those standards.

So this is an interesting idea. Guardians are bound by similar restrictive rules as kwamis are, which means that she can't give hints to other Holders identities, even unintentionally. Which means that she has to help not only the heroes, who she's happy to help, but Hawk Moth as well.

Check the tags on this one, though the description should give you a pretty good idea of what you're in for. The self-harm is all in the past, thankfully - Adrien's in a better place now emotionally, especially since he's been allowed to be more masculine (he's transmasc). Gabriel's still a dick though, and isn't afraid to punish him for stepping out of line. But Adrien's not afraid to stand up for himself and what he believes in, either.

I love this genre! Llama does a good job describing Adrien's feelings while he's being forced to act normal, to betray Ladybug. How awful he feels about his "betrayal", how insecure he now feels, knowing what he is. The way it's resolved is a little different from how I normally see this plot being resolved, which is a nice change of pace.

So this is a prequel to an earlier fic that I loved called "is it chill that you're in my head?" I ADORED that fic, and I love this one too! Getting to see the perspective of Nino before he joins Ladybug and Chat Noir, before he realizes who the hero and the villain are, seeing how he thinks about them and how cautious he is - but then also how he slowly opens up and sees the truth (but not without a setback or two.) And the Ninoir is exquisite!
