Summary
15 years ago Frank's pack was attacked, his mate was killed and he was forced to flee on his own to protect himself and his unborn children. Now he's settled into a secret life in a human community, working in a senior care home while his sons attend a human high school and keep their werewolf nature a secret. All of that is changed when Gerard, Ray and Mikey reappear and Frank learns that his Mate hadn't died like he'd thought for the last decade.
Things aren't as happy as they first appear though, the forces that tore the couple apart in the first place still threaten their safety, and the safety of Ryder and Ash - Gerard and Frank's teenage sons.

Nurse Iero is a fuckup. What else is new? But this fuckup deserves a special kind of punishment. And maybe in Ravencolm Hospital, servicing the prisoners in the adjoining penitentiary, he might find purpose again, maybe even peace. Turns out that's pretty fucking hard to do with a coworker like Gerard, with his inexplicable need to dress the way he does, and treat Frank like human flotsam. The rest of the town's creepy-ass denizens aren't helping, or the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere, without even a proper grocery store. Or maybe Frank just deserves to go through hell.
