Sometime after Rae’s duel with Manaria, Rae and Claire were talking about what happened. At one point, Claire lost her temper and said she hates peasants. Rae responded by saying she would quit her job as Claire’s servant. Claire didn’t take it well.
“So, you’re going to leave me alone, then. You liar...”
“No, of course not,” Rae assured her. “I’m not leaving, I’m just quitting. I’ll still be at school, obviously, you’ll definitely still see me all the time.”
Claire still wasn’t happy to be losing Rae as a maid, but she guessed she could see how it wasn’t the same as Rae leaving. Maybe she would try again later, and ask Rae to be her maid for the summer break or something like that.
