Work Text:
Kenta stares in surprise at the man in his bed.
Minsu Kim.
Korea's best baseball player that became a thorn in Kenta's ass when he joined a rival team.
A good one though.
Kenta never plays as phenomenally as he does when he's facing Minsu.
But Minsu is in his bed, at his hotel, after Kenta's team kicked his ass the night before.
"Why are you in my bed?" the question is a mutter as he takes stock of the picture they make.
Minsu's arm is around his waist, he's shirtless, and so is Kenta.
If Kenta focuses on himself, he's only wearing boxers under the gray blanket covering the hotel bed.
No morning wood, which means that he and Minsu definitely fucked the night before.
That's not good.
Well…
It's not particularly bad either.
But Kenta hasn't even properly kissed the man, so them jumping straight into bed together and leaving him with no memory? It kind of sucks.
"We didn't fuck," the sleepy drawl of Minsu's low voice rumbles through Kenta hotly. "You got drunk. Pete left you with me because I told him we were rooming across the hall from each other."
"Pete went to fuck the twins, didn't he?" huffs Kenta with an eye roll as his mind quiets because he never wakes up with morning wood when he goes to bed drunk.
"Yup," it's one word, but everything about Minsu's voice sends heat sprawling through Kenta's veins. "So, you want to kiss me?"
"Shut up," he groans as he attempts to slide out from under Minsu's arm and off the bed. But he's stopped by that arm tightening around his waist and tugging him in further. "Why are you stopping me, Minsu?"
"Say my name the way you normally would," murmurs Minsu as he lifts up to look at Kenta, their noses brushing in a gentle kiss.
"Kim," the name falls in a whisper. Their phone calls kept the formalities from rejoining unless a camera was on them, or their teammates were near. "Why are you stopping me?"
"Because I've been imagining our first kiss for the last six months, and I'm not going to let you run away from me. Can I kiss you, Kenta?" Minsu asks it quietly, like the question is sacred, like it can't be said any louder than he's done it.
He looks at Kenta like he's precious.
And in his eyes, only in Minsu Kim's eyes, does Kenta feel precious.
"Please," it's a breathless plea.
One that Minsu gives into like that was the last thing holding the frayed thread of his self-control together.
Their lips meet softly at first, but Minsu licks into Kenta's mouth quickly enough that the room fills with whimpers and moans. Kenta falls into the kiss, fingers surging into brown strands and gripping them like a lifeline as he straddles the other man. Hands grip Kenta's thighs as teeth graze over his bottom lip.
A first kiss has never felt quite like this, not for Kenta at least. But that's why he loves every bit of it.
Minsu is kissing him like this is the only chance he has to show Kenta how much he wants him.
Kenta doesn't want this to end.
So, he won't let it.
They have nothing to do today anyway.
The traveling is being put off for another day due to the weather, so their hotel rooms were booked for an extra day already.
Kenta pushes Minsu down, not allowing their lips to separate for longer than a few breathless seconds, and he settles fully on the man as those hands slide up to his hips.
"Fuck, Kenta," groans Minsu as they separate, panting as they stare at each other. "You're going to kill me."
"I think that's my line, Kim," murmurs Kenta as he nuzzles their noses together. "Do you want to slow down?"
"Not a fucking chance, unless you want to," Minsu's nails dig into his skin possessively.
"Six months, we just had our first kiss, and you think I'm willing to let you leave this bed without fucking me through it when you want to?" asks Kenta as he slides his nose down Minsu's cheek to start peppering kisses down his neck. "We've been dating for six months through video calls. We're not leaving this city without a proper date either, but I'm not leaving this room until you take responsibility for what you do to me."
Minsu's eyes are dark when Kenta looks in them again, then he's being rolled over, his back pressed into the bed as hips roll against his own.
"You're definitely not leaving this bed, Kenta," Minsu's voice is low and filled with heat. "But don't blame me when your hickeys make news more than your pitches."
"Promises, promises," chuckles Kenta as he tugs Minsu down with his hands in his hair.
Minsu takes the guide and licks into Kenta's mouth again while his hands slide up from his waistband to his pecs.
There's not a chance that Kenta's going to be able to leave this room today, and Minsu's going to make sure of it.
