After an unexplained phenomenon transports the PK Academy gang into the world of Attack on Titan, surviving Titans quickly becomes everyone's biggest concern.
...Well, everyone's except yours.
Because for reasons you can't explain, this world doesn't feel new.
It feels like home. 𓊉

Author here! Heres a few key tips for this storyline ૮(˶ᵔᵕᵔ˶)ა

1. There is death
2. VERY slow burn
3. It takes a bit to run into the main AOT cast
4. ALL RIGHTS ARE OWNED TO BOTH THE CREATORS OF SAIKI K AND ATTACK ON TITAN
5. The characters might not be exactly on point
6. Saiki's powers are dimmed in the AOT universe
7. This is a READER x CANON story!! 👀
8. I do like doing short stories like OVA's
9. Plot Twists happen!!
10. I won't get into season 4 unless its an OVA 😓

Might not be the best because I'm still getting used to writing stories!! o(〃^▽^〃)o

Notes:

Welcome to Echoes Beyond the Walls!

If you're looking for a lighthearted crossover where psychic powers solve everything in three chapters... this is not that story...

This is an Attack on Titan and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. crossover that slowly shifts from comedy into mystery, survival, and emotional drama while still keeping the humor that makes the Saiki cast so lovable.

This story contains:
• A very slow burn Reader x Canon romance. Their relationship will take time to build naturally, so don't expect love at first sight.
• Canon-typical violence, injuries, and death. This is still the world of Attack on Titan, and actions have consequences.
• Plot twists, hidden connections, and mysteries that won't be revealed immediately.
• Character development for both the Saiki cast and the Attack on Titan cast.
• Reincarnation themes, destiny, and memories that echo across lifetimes.
• Plenty of wholesome moments, comedic chaos, heartbreaking scenes, and emotional healing.

Please remember that this is an alternate universe. While I aim to keep characters true to their personalities, some events and timelines have been changed to fit the story.

Thank you for giving my story a chance. I hope you'll laugh with these characters, cry with them, celebrate their victories, and mourn their losses alongside them.

Now...

Let's see what happens when a world full of psychics and comedy collides with a world where humanity lives behind walls.

I hope you enjoy the journey!!

Work Text:

Let me guess: you're assuming this is just a story where a random original character falls in love with one of the main cast members? In a way, it is that kind of story, but there are a lot more serious moments than romantic ones. Welcome to the slow-burn war!

Hi, I'm (Your name), and this is the story of how my friends and I got stuck in a world where our humanity is lost to survive. I'm in 11th grade at PK Academy, and life here is weird enough. Saiki has psychic powers, Aiura has Gera and fortune-telling, Reita is a psychic medium, and Imu has time leap. If that's not weird enough, everyone else here seems to have some kind of issues, and they don't even have powers, mind you. Let's get into the story, why don't we?

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saiki's POV:

If you were to ask me how my morning was going, I'd say it was relatively peaceful. Which, in my case, meant only six people had bothered me before the first period. I was sitting in my usual seat, hoping to enjoy the rare experience known as silence. That lasted approximately three seconds.

"Dark Reunion spoke to me in a dream!" Kaidou announced dramatically as he slammed his hands onto my desk.

"Hey, Saiki! Wanna get ramen after school?" Nendou asked before I could even acknowledge Kaidou's existence.

"Hii, Saiki!" Yumehara chirped from somewhere behind them.

"Good morning, Saiki!" Hairo's voice somehow managed to be louder than everyone else's combined.

...

As I said. Relatively peaceful.

There was one voice I hadn't heard yet. Not that I cared. It was simply... unusual. Normally, by now, y/n would've said something about the cafeteria's chicken katsu or complained about another history assignment. Instead... She was staring out the window. Yare yare. There's always something new. Reading her thoughts would certainly be preferable to listening to these morons.

...

Your POV:

I had the weirdest dream last night. I wonder if, in another life, any of those people are actually real. Maybe it's just my imagination...

I noticed the birds outside and unconsciously thought "Freedom"...

Saiki POV:

Yare Yare, I don't have a good feeling about this. I hope I don't get sucked into this again like I always do.

No one's POV:

Nendou looked at Y/n, noticing she wasn't acting like she usually did. He was dumb, but not heartless. He began to poke her cheek. "Hey, buddy, you feeling okay?" He said curiously. She looked at him and shook her head. "Just fine, Nendou, just thinking," she said with a warm smile. "I think too! Mostly about ramen though!" Nendou said as you chuckled.

"Saiki, can I borrow you for a sec!" Aiura asked as she suddenly poked her head into the classroom, and Reita nodded frantically.

Saiki got up without a word and followed them nonetheless.

"Okay, okay, so I was talking with some of the ghosts and they kind of showed me something I probably shouldn't have seen," Reita said

"If he tried looking up another girl's skirt again," Saiki thought before Aiura spoke up

"It's weird, though, like I have been seeing death marks on a lot of people all of a sudden!" Aiura said

As they neared the room, Reita took a deep breath and slowly opened the door.

Saiki, for the first time, showed emotion at what he saw.

HI GUYS I SWEAR THE CHAPTERS WILL BE LONGER ITS LIKE LATE RIGHT NOW AND MY LAPTOP IS ABOUT TO DIE SO I PROMISE THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL BE LONGER AND MORE INTO DEPTH! 😭💕
