Watchtower
Med bay
It had been two weeks since Roy was attacked. His family had remained close but Jim and Will could only spend weekends with him because of their full time jobs, luckily Oliver was able to run Queen Consolidated from beside Roy.
Roy's eyes began to flutter. 'Ollie' croaks Roy weakly as he notices a blurry blonde figure, Oliver looked up from his paperwork and notices that his kid was opening his eyes. 'Hey Roy' says Oliver as he presses a button to alert Dr Mid-Nite that Roy was awake.
'Roy. You were attacked, you've been unconscious for the past 2 weeks' says Oliver as he moves aside for Dr Mid-Nite. Luckily the working day was done so Jim, Dinah and Will would be coming soon.
'Green Arrow can you step outside for a few minutes while I check over Arsenal' asks Dr Mid-Nite and Oliver does so. His wife and Roy's clones are coming down the hall, 'Ollie what are you doing out here' questions Will.
'He's awake' is all that Oliver can say. 'Dr Mid-Nite is with him. Dinah were you able to find anything about the drug that Miss Martian saw' asks Oliver, Dinah could only shake her head. 'No luck. I have heard rumours about how it is more powerful than Heroin and Fentanyl' says Dinah.
Dr Mid-Nite stepped out of Med bay. 'He is doing fine. He remembers what happened. You can sit with him now' says Dr Mid-Nite as the Arrow family make their way to Roy's side, his chest was bandaged.
Dinah hugged him as though he was a baby bird who had just fallen out of his nest. Roy had a worried look on his face, 'Roy what is it' asks Jim. 'I know the drug that my mother injected me with' says Roy.
As quick as the flash, the other quickly sit at Roy's bedside. 'In the pictures that were saved after my dad's death. There was a picture of my mom in a facility, she was about 7 months pregnant. She was making the drug.
The drug is called Ferocity. One hit and it makes the user crave it, the local drug lords are making thousands off of them. I take them out when I can but no luck. I kill one and three more pop up.
If the hit is a strong enough dose, then it can cause the user to develop open wounds that won't heal. It has become an epidemic in Hyde City. Hundreds are dying every week because of it' says Roy. A look crossed Oliver's face as he made the connection, 'Roy is that why your wanting to go solo' asks Oliver.
'Yes it is. My dad died saving me and I want to take down my mom' says Roy. Dinah stood up and she picked Roy up, she settled herself in his bed and placed him on her lap. 'Roy why didn't you contact us about the epidemic' asks Will.
Dinah began to run her hands through Roy's buzz cut hair, 'I didn't want any of you to get hurt. You all have lives and families, I was living in a warehouse was more often than not the meeting places for drug lords' says Roy.
'Roy how bad was it' asks Dinah as Jim grabs Roy's chart from the foot of the bed. 'Plenty of shoot outs. People so high out of their minds that they try to kill one another for their next hit. Druggies on every corner' says Roy as he tries to stay awake.
He starts to nod off, soon enough Roy is fast asleep. Dinah gets out of Roy's bed as he sleeps soundly, 'He refused to return to the manor. He wanted to go and make a way for himself' says Oliver as a way to defend himself.
'Boys what is going on. Roy just fell asleep' says Dinah. 'Sorry it's just that Will and I were under the impression that Roy was living at Queen manor. But we find out that he has been living in a warehouse' says Jim.
'Green Arrow, Black Canary, Red Arrow and Guardian report to the Monitor womb' says Batman. 'We are not done yet Ollie' says Will, as the four heroes make their way to the Monitor womb. While the Team enter the med bay, ' achoo Damn I must caught Robin's cold' says Dick.
'Well don't sneeze on Roy. The poor guy has gone through enough already' says Wally. As the team watched Roy, they didn't know that a wound had already opened and formed on his back from Ferocity.
The wound had been there for a week. It went un-noticed by Dr Mid-Nite and the other heroes who came to visit the original Roy.

Monitor Womb
The Arrow family arrive, their fellow heroes were gathered amongst them. 'Green Arrow what is the status of Arsenal' asks Batman, 'He opened his eyes. Turns out the drug is called Ferocity and it is causing an epidemic in Hyde City.
It is a highly addictive drug that if administered in an strong enough dose can cause open sores that will not heal to form' says Oliver. 'Do you know who the drug creator is' asks Superman, 'The creator is Roy's mom and she was using while she was pregnant with him.
Roy has been killing off the drug dealers but for each one that he kills, another three will pop up. Hundreds have died because of this drug' says Will. 'Where is the epidemic mostly' asks Flash ever the CSI.
'It is in Hyde City. Roy has been living there since he was officially revived, Ollie had offered him a room at the manor but Roy wanted to be where the root of the problem was' says Jim. Murmuring began amongst the heroes.
'Bats what is the League's plan for this. Sports-Master, Merlyn and Roy's mother were all there and they all wanted the same piece of information. They wanted Green Arrow's information' says Conner.
Artemis, M'gann, Wally and Kaldur entered soon after him. Dick was sent home because of his cold, 'Roy continuously refused to give the information to Merlyn and Sports-Master' says Wally.
'My father who is Sports-Master is a cruel man. He has no love for me or my sister Cheshire. He would rather see us dead than weak, he is willing to let his wife become wheelchair bound and sentenced to prison if it meant that he wouldn't face the consequences' says Artemis.
Will chokes on his saliva a little at the mention of Cheshire, 'Will you are so much trouble you know that right' says Oliver as he looks at his former protege. Suddenly an alarm began blaring from the Med bay.
Dr Mid-Nite ran out as Oliver, Dinah, Will and Jim followed behind him. There was a putrid smell coming from Roy's bed as he rolled onto his side, the open wound is revealed to those in the room.
'If you have no medical training get out of here' says Dr Mid-Nite as Oliver, Jim, Dinah and Will were forced into the hallway. Soon night fell, and the heroes returned to earth to get some proper sleep.
They couldn't return to the Watchtower for 1 week. That's how long it took Dr Mid-Nite to get Roy's infection under control, treat his wound and get his fever under control. When they were allowed back up, Oliver was very worried.
'Hey Ollie' says Roy weakly as Oliver enters the Med bay. Roy looked very pale but Oliver sat by his side and took a hold of one of Roy's hands, 'Arsenal is grounded until you are better' says Oliver in a tone of finality.
'What ever Ollie. Dr Mid-Nite did find something though' says Roy but it was muffled by the oxygen mask around his mouth. 'What did he find kid' asks Oliver as he straightens the blanket on Roy's bed.
'I've always had Ferocity in my system but it laid dormant since I came into contact with it while in uttero' says Roy. 'Roy it's not your fault. It was your mother's fault and I'm sure that your dad is proud of the hero that you have become' says Oliver.
'Thanks Ollie' says Roy sleepily as he closes his eyes and falls asleep in an instant.
