It's been a while since I last used this platform, but I wanted to come back with something a little different from what I usually do.
Ever since I saw the movie "𝐴𝑉𝐴𝑇𝐴𝑅 𝟸; 𝑇𝘩𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑡𝘩𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟".
I really liked the ship that started circulating in the fandom: 𝘕𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘺𝘢𝘮 𝘹 𝘈𝘰'𝘯𝘶𝘯𝘨.
In my opinion, they were very "Enemies to Lovers" (Neteyam, you weren't allowed), anyway, I saw and read several stories about them and I liked them; they were really cute. I wanted to do something different, or at least something I don't see as very common in fanfiction about this couple.
A recurring pattern in these stories is that Neteyam is generally considered the "bottom" or submissive one in the relationship. Personally, I think there's versatility between the two characters, and I feel there would be a more interesting and potentially more dynamic if we considered Ao'nung as the "bottom" or submissive one. I'd like to see more of that, since I don't see much of that kind of content around here. If you disagree with me, that's perfectly valid because it's just a personal opinion. I personally prefer it when the "big boy" or "tough guy" is the submissive one; I feel it's more dynamic, so to speak. It's like the expression "small but spicy" (?) XD
Points I want to mention:
Updates will be somewhat slow and at very different intervals depending on how busy I am, so if you like the story, I ask for your patience as I work to deliver quality writing.
There will be an allusion to M-preg, but note that it's not Omegaverse. I might like to write a story of that type in the future, but that's not the case this time.
There's a time jump of about 4-5 years, more or less, so that certain parts of the story "make sense," so to speak.
Neteyam is going to be relatively "taller" (though it won't be very noticeable here either), although canonically he is taller and older than Ao'nung, since the Metkayina appear larger than the Omatikaya. According to the character wikis, Neteyam is 2.62 meters tall, while Ao'nung is 2.57 meters tall, which isn't a huge difference and isn't noticeable in the movie, but I'm mentioning it. Also, Neteyam is going to be a little older than Ao'nung, because yes, he really is. Tsireya is the older sister, not Ao'nung, and it's not that relevant, but again, I'm just mentioning it.
Anyway, I hope you like it, and I hope to get back on track with all my other work.
