Chapter Text
Her deep, chocolate eyes grew wide at the person standing before her. His light, sandy brown colored hair was a bit longer, yet still in a high ponytail. There was a still a look of innocent naivete that radiated from him as well. "Lady Kagome!" The young man gasped in a similar disbelief as her own. "Tis truly you!"
"Akitoki!" She replied, still in a bit of shock, but she was pleased to see him again after all these years. Kagome had been gathering some herbs for a remedy that Kaede needed. She had just returned to see an old friend from their travels, Akitoki Hojo, standing with the elder priestess in front of her hut. "I can't believe you're here!"
"I could say the same to you! I had heard rumors when you defeated the demon Naraku, but when I came here three years ago, I was told you had traveled back to your homeland. I tried to find Lord Inuyasha, but I was told I could not reach him," Kagome put her basket down as something flashed across her face akin to sadness, but he continued on. "Just recently I had heard tell of your return, so I had to come back and see!" A soft blush bloomed in her fair colored cheeks before she recovered with a smile.
"You came here just for me? I don't know what to say! It's good to see you!" Akitoki grabbed her hands in his with a sparkle in his eyes.
"You as well! We must catch up!" A sudden gust of wind burst, causing both Kagome and Akitoki's hair and robes to fly around them, as a flash of red and silver fell down from seemingly out of no where.
"Oh!" Kagome gasped, her face seem to brighten at the sight of him. "Inuyasha! You're back early! How was the trip?" Inuyasha narrowed his eyes at seeing her hands being held by another man, then looked at Akitokis face. It took a moment to recognize him, but Inuyasha quickly pulled his mates hands away. She rolled her eyes at his jealous nature.
"You're that klutz with the stupid items. The hell are you doing here again?" Inuyasha ignored the hiss of his name from Kagome along with the sharp glare to go with it. Akitoki smiled sheepishly back.
"I think a welcome meal is in order," Kaede finally spoke after watching the scene. "All of ye should come here for lunch. We shall invite Miroku and Sango as well." They all happily agreed. Everyone except Inuyasha at least, who just huffed indignantly.
"I need something from the storage shed. Let's go, Kagome."
"Perhaps I'll accompany you there-" Akitoko said as he was about to take a step forward when Inuyasha quickly turned to look at him.
"No. You stay here." There was a threatening aura around the half-demon that made him freeze. Kagome wore an apologetic smile, and was he imagining it, or did Akitoki notice a slight blush as well when she turned to look up at the half-demon. Inuyasha took her wrist and pulled her with him.
Akitoki knew they had feelings for each other when he traveled with their group, but Kagome is a priestess now, and Inuyasha is a half-demon. 'Surely they're not...?' He silently wondered to himself as the pair walked away.

Kagome gasped when her back was pushed into the wall of the shed. Inuyasha's mouth was immediatly on hers with an almost desperate fervor. His large palms framed the sides of her face while his fangs lightly grazed her bottom lip, eliciting a muffled whine.
"You really are ridiculous when you get jealous like this, you know that?" She said between gasps as his mouth went to her neck.
"No other man is gonna touch what's mine." Inuyasha growled possessivly against her skin. He turned her around to face the wall.
Kagome's front was pressed into the wood of the small building while Inuyasha quickly loosened the front of her hakama. His hand slipped into her pants and went down between her legs to rub her already slick area. Kagome bit back a deep moan that threatened to rise from her throat when the sound of passing footsteps and voices that came from a couple of villagers were heard outside.
She glanced at the sheathed Tetsusaiga that had been wedged between the doors so no one else could get inside. There wasn't, however, anything canceling out the noise. Anyone that walked by the small structure could hear, and it happened to be located in the middle of the town. She heard an amused chuckle in her ear from behind. "Don't get all shy now," Inuyasha whispered. "Ya sure were into it a minute ago."
Kagome's fingers curled into fists against the wall. She was about to argue when his thumb brushed against her clit, stopping any words from coming out. She could feel his full hardness against her back, causing her wetness to grow even more. "Fuck! You're soaked! Want me that bad?" All she could do was bite her lip and whine from the almost painful ache she felt for him.
"Y-you were gone for so l-long!" Kagome attempted to protest but her voice came out weak. With his other hand, Inuyasha unfastened his pants in a hurry and pulled them down to reveal his fully erect member. Then he roughly did the same to her hakama, but let them drop to around her ankles. He repositioned them slightly so that her backside stuck out more.
She swallowed back a loud moan when Inuyasha pressed his tip against her slick opening before slowly sliding inside. He removed the hand he had previously been servicing her with to cover her mouth. Kagome's body trembled with desire when he was completely incased in her walls.
Her moans, mixed with his wonton whines and breathless panting, would have surely been heard if anyone was unlucky enough to pass by. Inuyasha moved his free hand to lift her thigh for better access. "That's it!" Inuyasha growled in low tone of voice when his mate started letting out almost animalistic grunting noises. His hips bucked harder at the sound.
"Ya like it when I fuck your pussy nice and deep, don't ya? Shit!" Inuyasha growled. "You sound like a bitch in heat! I'm gonna cum inside you, and you're gonna take every fucking drop!"
Inuyasha groaned before he made one final hard thrust then let himself go. Her eyes rolled back into her head at the simultaneous feelings of her orgasm mixed with being filled with his white hot seed.
Kagome felt her legs started to give after Inuyasha carefully released her thigh and pulled out, but he quickly caught her by the hips to slowly help lower her to the floor. "Well, that was.... a nice welcome home... wasn't it?" She joked between gasps for breath, turning partway to gaze at him with a beaming smile. Inuyasha chuckled lightly and swept a few hairs from her eyes.
"Yeah, you're telling me. You probably need a few minutes, huh?" Kagome nodded and received a sweet kiss from him.

"Lady Kagome! Lord Inuyasha!" They were both leaving the shed when the pair heard their names being called. Kagome had been running her fingers through her hair in attempt to fix it, and Inuyasha was tightening the sash of his pants. Both instantly froze.
"A-Akitoki!" Kagome stuttered out as the man was hurrying towards them. He stopped in front of them with a concerned look on his face.
"Lady Kagome, are you alright?" She made a confused 'huh?' sound at the question. "You look a bit flushed! It's getting warmer recently so please take care not to get sick or over heated! I can show you some remedies on how to stay cool!" Kagome almost laughed at the nostalgia of hearing that. Inuyasha made a sound of displeasure, but was quickly elbowed in his side, which put a stop to it.
"How nice of you! It is a bit warm, isn't it? There's no need to worry about me though, I'm fine! Do you need something?"
"Oh! That's right! Lady Kaede said that lunch will be done soon. You were gone quite a while actually. Did you get what you needed in the storage shed?"
"Oh, yeah. I got everything I needed. Pretty sure Kagome did too." Inuyasha said as he wore a proud smirk, which only grew at the look of embarrassment on her face.
Akitoki glanced between them. "You are both empty handed though." Kagome startled a little bit, but Inuyasha only made a small snorting sound.
"Don't worry about it. Let's go eat. I worked up a real appetite today." The half-demon remarked, ignoring the deathly glare from the woman next to him. Inuyasha stopped for a second to lean in and whisper in Kagome's ear. "Don't think you're off the hook yet. Better be prepared for tonight, woman."
Akitoki couldn't hear what was said, but he did see how Kagome froze, and seemed to tremble where she stood, before shaking her head and rushing to catch up with the man. All he knew for sure was the sinking feeling in his chest, and how he didn't like any of this.

"Huh?" Akitoki perked up at the sound of Kagome's voice, along with a soft giggle. It was so sweet and lyrical that it made his face feel hot.
"I was asking what you had been up to since we saw you last. You were able to destroy the sword, right?"
"Oh! Y-yes, I was. I actually got married afterwards," Kagome gasped in excitement at hearing that, her eyes practically sparkling. "But, she passed from an illness not long after we were wed. We had no children from it either." Kagome immediately sagged.
"I'm sorry, Akitoki! That's so sad." She replied in a mournful voice, seemingly full of regret over her initial response.
"Don't worry! It's fine! After that I decided to go on a long journey. When I came near this village, I decided to check in. That's when Lady Kaede told you had come back!" A low growl was heard from behind when Kagome's hand was once again grabbed. Inuyasha tensed from where he sat by the door, his teeth bearing themselves.
She politely smiled and pulled them her hand away to pick up her half eaten bowl. Both of them shared a quick glance and Inuyasha instantly relaxed. "I would ask if you were married, but of course not. You are a priestess after all! Someone in your position can't be distracted that way, can she? It would be quite bad."
The half-demon behind him, along with all the others in the hut, froze again, but this time it was for a different reason. Inuyasha suddenly stood up. "I'm going for a walk." He stated, only giving a couple of ear twitches at the worried look on Kagome's face. He did, however, spare a moment to look at her before rushing out of the hut.
To everyone else in the small space, it seemed like just a millisecond, but for Kagome, it was as if time stopped. She could hear his voice without him uttering a single word. She could feel his guilt and pain. "Kagome?" Sango spoke up with a voice filled with concern. The young woman shook her head and sighed.
"Give him a few minutes to calm down, and he'll be fine." Kagome replied before taking a few extra bites of her food. That anxious look never left her eyes, though. Akitoki feared he might have said something wrong. When her bowl was emptied, Kagome calmly sat her chopsticks on top, thanked Kaede for the meal, then left.
"I'm not sure what I said, but it seems I upset him." Everyone else left in the house gave each other nervous glances.
"Yes, but it wasn't your fault. There's quite a lot backstory there." Miroku said with a bit of sweat on his brow.
"Please tell me so I won't make the mistake again!" Akitoki begged him with a deep bow. Kaede breathed out a deep breath and cleared her throat before she began.
