Welcome to "Chosen Family" information/World-Building details.
This information is for you to understand some important details regarding the trolls in my world and the differences they have. Please have patience with me as this is my first time writing, so here it is:
*General Information*
-Trolls can live up to 200 years. (They will grow up normally until they are 30 years old and will stop aging, then will continue aging once they reach 125 years old.)
-Each genre has 2 types of main magic.
-Pop trolls have been trapped for 1000 years. (Miracle there are still some of them)
-Pop trolls are more feral and fighters in this story.
-Pop trolls have physical capabilities not seen in other trolls because they were experimented on, changing their genetics and magic completely.
-Only Pop trolls can store things in their hair.
-Genre mix trolls or hybrids exist. (They are not looked upon well)
-Trolls have tails. (Except Classical trolls)
-Trolls have their SOULMATE; they can find them through the voice when singing and the scent they produce.
-All Trolls have a scent. (Between family, this scent can become calming)
-All Trolls can growl, purr, or whimper.
-All Trolls can do a Sour Note when in danger. (It changes the sound a bit depending on the music genre.)
"Magic Specifics":
*Pop Trolls:
+Weapon Construct - Can create physical weapons or shields using the light they made.
+Sound Waves - Use non-musical sounds to inflict physical attacks.

*Yodel Trolls:
+Healing - With Yodel harmony, they can heal any wound. (They CAN NOT bring back the dead)
+ The "Goblin/Faerie" call - They summon a "Goblin" to assist with tracking, danger detection, and locate allies/enemies over long distances & a "Faerie" to amplify different magic.
*Country Trolls:
+Bulls Strength - Allows them to have extraordinary strength. (Stronger than a Bergen)
+Geokinesis - Earth magic.
*Funk Trolls:
+Energize/Frailty - Increases morality and amplifies magic or physical abilities/Decreases morality and weakens magic or physical abilities.
+ Aeromancy - Air Magic.
*Rock Trolls:
+Instrument Mastery - Can use guitars or drums to amplify sound waves to inflict pain. (They can use any instrument)
+Pyric Form - Fire Magic
*Techno Trolls:
+ Energy Transfer - Use world energy to supply magic to others or take it away.
+Hydrokinesis - Water Magic
*Classical Trolls:
+Summoning - This allows them to summon a Faerie for support.
+Dust of Symphony - Allows to weaken or strengthen the magic of others or their own.
*Waiata Trolls:
+Bridge of Nature - They summon animal spirits for guidance and protection. (This magic can be taught to other genres since all trolls are related to nature)
+Unifying - They can temporarily fuse with an animal spirit.
*Gaelic Trolls:
+Tri Fonna - Divided on 3, Goltrai (Amplifies negativity), Geantrai (Amplifies Positivity), and Suantrai (Forces you to sleep).
+Environment Manipulation - Can modify the vegetation any way they want.
(NOTE: The Trolls inherit the powers from their parents. If they are from the same genre, for example, Funk/Funk, their magic will be the same as every other Funk troll, but if they are from different genres, for example, Rock/Classical, they will have the powers of both genres. This is the reason Hybrids are so disliked.)
"Physical Details":
*Pop Trolls:
-Produce sounds unrelated to music and more animalistic.
-Retractable fangs and claws, and slit eyes when angry.
-Hair manipulation
-Can carry eggs on their hair or their womb.
-More Feral and aggressive to strangers.
-They know how to fight. (Still love parties and sweet stuff)
-They are extremely fast.
-They have sharp hearing.
*Yodel Trolls:
-Horns.
-Can jump to high altitudes.
-Cold and Heat resistance.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
*Country Trolls:
-Same appearance as in the movie
-They have more strength than other trolls (Worst if using their magic)
-Heat resistance.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
*Funk Trolls:
-Same appearance as in the movie
-Can go higher in the sky, and it won't affect them much.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
*Rock Trolls:
-Same appearance as in the movie, but with small fangs.
-Extreme heat resistance.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
*Techno Trolls:
-Same appearance as in the movie.
-Can produce higher or lower notes.
-They have excellent hearing.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
*Classical Trolls:
-Same appearance as in the movie
-They have excellent sight.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
*Waiata & Gaelic Trolls:
-Taller than the rest of the trolls.
-Tails are completely covered in fur (Like cats)
-Fangs and Claws.
-Their hair is always tied or braided.
-Have tattoos.
-Eggs only appear on their hair.
(NOTE: If they are Hybrids, they can have physical appearances of both genres or sometimes 1 will be more prominent than the other.)
