“I did! I stole the Miraculous!” Gabriel declared.
“Except the ones we actually want,” Nathalie pointed out.
“Details,” Gabriel waved away.
“So what’s the plan now?”
“I will give them to my akumas.”
“Sir, won’t that just give Ladybug and Chat Noir a chance to steal back the Miraculous?”
“No, because they won’t win.”
Nathalie sighed, “While I admire your confidence, sir, aren’t there other options?”
“Well, I suppose I could reforge them into rings that will transfer them to mobile phone rings that my akumas would be wearing… but that would take months to set up, and I don’t have that kind of patience.”
Nathalie rubbed her forehead.
Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated an akuma and retrieved the Fox Miraculous.
“Rats!” Hawk Moth said.
And the Turtle.
“Curses!”
And the Bee.
“Damn it!”
Half a dozen akumas later…
“Sir, this is getting ridiculous.”
Hawk Moth jumped out the window.
Nathalie hung her head in defeat.
Hawk Moth’s newest akuma came to the location he gave her.
“Here is your Miraculous.”
“Thank you,” Ladybug’s voice came from behind him.
He spun around to find himself surrounded by Ladybug’s team.
“How did you find me?”
“We saw the akuma didn’t have a Miraculous, so we realised she was coming to you to pick it up,” Chat Noir said.
“And we followed her,” Ladybug finished.
“You won’t defeat me!”
They defeated him.
“What’s your name?” Ladybug bent down to the former akuma.
“Maya, my name’s Maya.”
“Well, how about we take you home, Maya?” Chat asked.
She nodded and took his hand.
