Settlement
- 200 years before the Doom, Dragonstone as a settlement and the farthest point of the Valyrian empire in western areas was founded
- Under the watchful eye of an ancestor of the Targaryen family, the castle of DS was erected, through fire and brimstone and of course: a lot of magic
- The castle of DS, in comparison to others, is a rather middle sized building
- after the Doom, it’s unique in the way it was build
- Many towers, mystical and gloomy, dark but not cold, rather looming and full of secrets and pride
- The riches, the luxury and the overall demeanor of the castle and its grounds show a glimpse of what Valyria once was
- 114 BC, the Targaryen clan survived the Doom of Valyria and moved their household entirely to DS (before then, seasonal trips or business / see Notes)
- 11 Dragons came to DS permanently and over 20 eggs
