As soon as the exquisitely dark perfume hits Spike's nostrils, he figures who hopped themselves right back on the Bebop.
Could use a distraction...
Somewhere in the hangar bay, Red Tail's zipcraft engines cool.
"Well, well," Faye drawls, slinking in. "It's been a long time..."
He snorts good-naturedly, kicking his feet up, not looking up from Bigshot's muted program playing or from Judy's humorous breasts.
"You've been gone less than a day, Faye."
"Well... what can I say?" She uses her chance to slink up to where Spike lounges, grinning deviously. The casino-gown on Faye alike a shimmering, silvered mirror. Her fingers walk playfully up Spike's bare and muscular arm. "A girl gets lonely sometimes," Faye croons.
Careless, Spike knocks away Faye's fingers.
"How much?" he asks, looking up, enjoying how her face sours for a millisecond. "How much of the kitty did you drain when you gambled the last lonely woolongs out of poor Jeffly Frank's bank account?"
"Ah, ah!" With a not-so-gentle prod of her forefinger, Faye nudges Spike's nose, making him scrunch and rub it. "I never kiss and tell—"
"—except when it's convenient—"
Faye huffs, her plum lipstick-covered twisting up. "You owe me 50, pretty boy," she says crankily, and the edges of Spike's mouth upturn. "And there's an all-you-can-eat-noodle-bar I've been wanting to—"
"Let's make it a date," Spike interrupts, jumping up and throwing off the fluffy white towel wrapped around his head from a shower.
She stammers, gaping, Faye's cheeks blushing under the makeup.
Good enough of a distraction...
