rui walks into the kitchen with a blender and two small, cute plushies in his hand.
"tsukasa? are you there?" he calls out, before seeing a head peak out from the corner and come towards him.
"yes rui?" he asks, eyeing the plushies.
"well, its kinda weird but... I was thinking maybe we could make a smoothie with our plushies?"
tsukasas eyes light up, he's always wanted to do this!!
"of course rui!! I'd love to!"
rui smiles at that, somehow he knew tsukasa would agree.
"I'll get some fruits and you can set up the blender!" tsukasa says as he opens the freezer to grab frozen fruit, then opening the fridge to get milk.
now they had it all played out on the counter:
frozen strawberries
frozen mangos
frozen peaches (🤤🤤🤤 my favourite)
frozen blueberries
milk
yo gurt
and lastly the two very scared looking plushies.
"I don't like how scared they can look even when they're plushies..." tsukasas muttered.
"now that you mention it I don't like it either."
the two plushes that are very overpriced but I still really want anyway made the most afraid expression they could without being able to move their faces... or be... sentient.
...
"well its no time to dwell on it! we've already gotten our ingredients out." rui says, trying to lighten up the mood.
"yea..." tsukasa seemed unconvinced but he already agreed to this.. so he had to go through with it. no matter how worried those little guys looked.
Rui plugs in the blender with a spark (not a good sign) and they start loading the ingredients in.
starting with all the fruit, tsukasa placed the peaches (🤤🤤🤤), strawberries and mangos while rui poured the blueberries. he also handled the milk and yo gurt.
and finally...
plushie time...
they both slowly lowered their respective plushies into the blender, tsukasa looking remorseful and rui looking... almost excited..? ...whatever. they close the lid and start the blender
it took longer than it would usually, having fabric in it and all. but as the plushies faces starting to fade all tsukasa could feel was the dent in his bank account. the colours whisked together in almost a kind of fury, like it was fighting. rui imagined the plushies on a battlefield and by the looks of it, tsukasa was imagining a similar thing.
"I kinda miss them..." tsukasa said before the blender had even stopped blending, making it hard for rui to hear.
"huh?" rui asked after turning it off and inspecting it closely.
"I just kinda miss them... the plushies.." tsukasa muttered.
"oh..." rui said realizing its way too late for any salvaging. "well its too late now!" he said trying to land a joke but instead it fell and flopped to the floor.
"I guess your right..!" tsukasa seemed to get an idea last minute..
"now our only way to honour them is to drink the smoothie!!!" tsukasa beamed. rui inspected the smoothie closer.
"you don't mind a bit of.. uh... pulp? right??" rui looked over hopefully.
"not at all dear director!!"
"ok.." rui said as he poured the smoothie into two cups, suddenly feeling uneasy about this whole thing.
"you ready?" tsukasa asked him with his brightest smile.
"..yes" rui answered and looked down at his drink.
"then.. 3! 2! 1! go!!!!" tsukasa cheered as he and rui took a sip of the concoction.
"its actually.. not that bad.."
"yea your right!!!" tsukasa answered and inspected his cup before taking another sip..
suddenly..
"rui..?" tsukasa muttered onto his breath, suddenly feeling sick!
"yea what is it my star?" rui looked over to see a nauseous looking tsukasa and worry immediately struck him. "are you okay?!" he asked but then...
"rui..."
"I don't feel so good-"
POOF!!!!!!!!!!!
the sound of glass breaking as his cup fell to the floor.
confetti suddenly appeared where tsukasa was just a second ago. now gone. rui was feeling so much right now. sadness, confusion, frustration, and lastly, fear.
he looked down at his drink, tears welling in his eyes and pouring down his cheek and suddenly...
POOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he was gone...
then suddenly (x3) a chuuya edit played in the background!!!!!
all you could was faint music and all you could see what broken glass and confetti (woah that rhymed)
