Roger the seal hunter
Prologue - Seal breeding
-Something has happened to the seal population - said the man on the TV screen. - Some anomaly has made them overly eager to reproduce in any way possible. They are multiplying constantly, threatening to disturb the biological balance of Arctic waters. Something like this has never occurred on Earth, and the only other time something like this occurred was during the War of the Three Worlds, on worlds under attack by the Bohandi.
But there are no Bohandis here, so the mystery remains unsolved. Anyway, explaining this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is to counteract the effect. How to do it? This is a lot of work, as you need to kill at least 20% of the seal population and catch at least 15%. Captured seals must have their genetics changed to reduce their ability to reproduce. In this way, their reproduction will be inhibited. However, if this fails, a virus will have to be introduced that will kill all the seals, otherwise they will flood the entire world. We asked for an expert's opinion on this matter…
-Yes, thank you - said another man. - To stop this anomaly, we are going to do several things. First of all, we are going to hire a ship with a crew to catch the first batch of seals and kill some of the seals that are breeding so quickly. Peggy immediately turned off the TV.
