Tommy sighs as he lays down waiting for mid night he was about to turn ten today and finally get his hybrid traits he couldn't wait for them to grow in he knows it will hurt but he doesn't care as he has been waiting for years as he feels a hand in his hair as he looks up at his mother her massive black wings covering his body acting like a blanket
Kristin: how are you feeling sunshine?
Tommy: I am feeling better then every but I just wish mid night would come already so I can grow my whatever features
Kristin: well what hybrid do you wish you are?
Tommy: a avian just like you and dad that way all three of us can fly
Kristin: what about your brother?
Tmmy: you guys can Carry him like always but then you won't need to carry me
Kristin rubs tommys hair as he unconsciously lens closer to her hand as he grins a smile and relaxes as Kristin grins a smile
Kristin: with how much you love someone rubbing your hair you might be a cat
Tommy just hums clearly just enjoying his hair getting rubbed as she stops for a second as the door opens but tommy wines as she stops as she laughs and continues as his dad and older brother come over and sit down on the bed
Phil: heya son you feeling okay?
Tommy just hums in response as Wilbur laughs as he uses his fox tail to poke tommy as he whines opening his eyes and glaring at his older brother
Tommy: what?
He ask clearly annoyed
Wilbur: dad asked you a question
Tommy blinks confused as he looks at his dad
Phil: you didn't need to do that Wilbur but are you okay you feeling okay?
Tommy nods
Tommy: are you kidding I feel great like I can take on the world
Phil laughs
Phil: well that's good so what hybrid do you want to be?
Tommy: a avian obviously
Wilbur: personally I want you to be a land or sea hybrid it's boring being the only one not a avian
He says as his fox tail was wagging from side to side
Phil: it's okay Wilbur but it's almost time
He stops as he checks the clock as it was ten minutes until midnight
Phil: midnight is close here
He says handing tommy a bottle of liquid that was grey in color
Phil: it's a mix of weakness and slowness it should put you to sleep and take away any pain you will be experiencing
Tommy looks annoyed and doesn't take the potion
Tommy: no I want to be awake when they come in
Wilbur looks concerned
Wilbur: sunshine that isn't a good idea trust me it hurts a lot tp grow them
Tommy looks at his older brother as he sees his worried look as he looks at his mom
Kristin: trust me sunshine you don't want to be awake
Tommy: fine
He says as he grabs the potion and drinks it in one go as Wilbur hands him a cup field with water as he drinks it all to get the taste out of his mouth as he almost instantly starts feeling tried as he gets pulled closer to Kristin as she hugs him close and continues to rub his head as he slowly falls asleep
Later
I slowly wake up my body was stiff as I yawn as I feel someone petting my hair as I unconsciously let out a purr to my confusion as I wake up more hearing myself make this sound As I try to get up but my limbs were very shaky as someone sat me up as i looks up at his mom she had a smile on her face
Kristin: heya sunshine you waking up?
Tommy sleepily nods as he tries to move but his body feels tried as Kristin notices and gives me a sorry look
Kristin: sorry sunshine they was a lot of blood last night we needed like seven heath potions to make sure you were healthy
I just nod tried as her petting my hair felt extra good for some reason
Kristin: do you want to see what you are?
She asked moving me so I was sitting up as she said it I woke up a bit as I nod as she picks me up and walks to the bathroom making sure to not hit her wings as I let out a confused sound as she grabbed something to stop it from hitting the door and I felt some pain when she did as she turns me around as seeing myself caused me to wake up completely
Tommy: woah
I said shocked as I now had cat ears on top of my head and a tail to go along with it and on my back was a pair of white wings that had golden flames on them they were a bit small as I tried to turn to see my wings but couldn't do to moms hold on me
Kristin: sorry sunshine but it ain't a good idea to turn in case you hit something with your wings which would hurt because there fragile
I look disappointed but stop as I felt like I had a tail which then I remembered it as I tried to move it to where I could see it as I managed to quickly as I look at white fur with gold stripes as I let out grasp as I moved it with ease as I was almost completely awake now but got to excited as I accidentally hit myself in the face with my tail as I let out a shock sound and growled at my tail as mom was trying not to laugh as she quickly stops me from doing anything as she cares me out of the room and down the stairs to the kitchen as I see dad making breakfast as Wilbur was talking with my uncle techno as I got excited seeing him
Tommy: techno!!
I say excitedly as he turns to me with a small smile
Techno: heya squirt how are you feeling?
He asked concerned
Tommy: a little sore and I do feel some pain from my wings and I do feel a bit tired to be honest but minus that I am fine
I say with a small as he smiled back at me as mom finally put me down on a chair as she went to help Dad make breakfast as Wilbur comes over to my rubbing my ears as I let out a purr as he chuckles to himself hearing me purr
