Homecoming - We were Meant to Be. Always.

Summary:

For the first time in years, they had no more restrictions. No military schedules, no stolen moments, no timed visits. Just them.

Seokjin let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. “Took you long enough.”

Jungkook swallowed. “Yeobo—”

That was all it took.

Seokjin pulled him in, arms wrapping tightly around him, hands gripping the fabric of Jungkook’s hoodie as if letting go wasn’t an option.

Jungkook melted into him, burying his face into Seokjin’s shoulder, inhaling the familiar scent of comfort, of home. His fingers curled into the back of Seokjin’s jacket, holding on like he was afraid this was all a dream.

Work Text:

The early morning air carried a lingering chill as Jeon Jungkook stood in formation, waiting for the final words that would officially discharge him and Jimin from service. His heart pounded—not just because of the momentous occasion, but because standing just beyond the crowd of waiting families and cameras was the one person he wanted to run to the most.

Kim Seokjin.

Except, of course, he couldn’t run to him.
Instead, he had to settle for watching from the corner of his eye, knowing that the man who had waited for him all these years was standing there like just another bandmate welcoming him back. Seokjin’s hands were tucked into the pockets of his long coat, a small but warm smile on his lips as he stood beside Hoseok, Namjoon, and Taehyung.
They looked more like a group of friends hanging out than international superstars reuniting after nearly two years of military service. But Jungkook knew better.

He knew that Seokjin had barely slept last night, too restless with anticipation. He knew that Seokjin had insisted on picking him up personally, had planned this moment down to the last detail. And he knew that underneath the easy smile, Seokjin was feeling just as much as he was.
But professionalism came first.

The final words were spoken, and Jungkook exhaled as he and Jimin were dismissed. It was over. Their time as soldiers was done.

As soon as they stepped forward, Hoseok was already launching toward them.

“Jiminie! Jungkookie!” Hoseok practically sang, pulling both of them into a tight hug. “Ugh, finally. You have no idea how hard it’s been keeping these guys entertained without you two.”

Jungkook chuckled, letting himself be squeezed. “Missed you too, hyung.”

Jimin groaned. “You say that like you weren’t thriving without us.”

“Oh, I was,” Hoseok admitted, grinning. “But that’s not the point.”

Namjoon clapped Jungkook on the back. “How does it feel? You’re free.”

Jungkook hesitated, shifting his duffel bag. “Honestly? Kinda weird.”

Jimin nodded in agreement. “It’s like… I keep expecting someone to yell at me to line up or do a roll call.”

“Give it a week,” Taehyung smirked, looping an arm around Jimin’s shoulders. “You’ll be back to sleeping in and playing games all night.”

Seokjin, who had been quiet until now, finally spoke up. “Except not tonight.”

Jungkook turned toward him fully for the first time, his chest tightening slightly.

Seokjin’s eyes twinkled with mischief. “You’re not going home yet.”

Jungkook blinked. “We’re not?”

“Nope,” Hoseok chimed in. “HYBE’s expecting us. We have to go live for ARMY. They’ve been waiting for this reunion almost as long as you guys have.”
Jimin groaned. “Hyung, I just got out of the military.”

“Exactly,” Seokjin grinned. “Which means it’s time to remind everyone that you’re an idol again.”
Namjoon chuckled. “You should’ve seen how excited Bang PD was when we told him the whole group would be together for the first time in years. Well, almost the whole group.”

Jungkook frowned. “Where’s Yoongi-hyung?”
“Still got a week left in public service,” Taehyung said. “But he’s waiting for us at HYBE. He won’t join the live, but he wants to see us.”

That made Jungkook perk up. “So he’s actually showing up? Not just texting ‘I’m with you in spirit’?”

Seokjin snorted. “Oh, trust me, I dragged him out of his apartment myself.”

Jungkook laughed. This—this banter, this chaotic energy—felt like home.

“Alright, alright,” Seokjin clapped his hands together. “Let’s go before we get stuck in more traffic.”

They made their way to the cars, splitting up for the drive.

Hoseok tossed Jungkook’s bag into one of the SUVs and gestured toward the passenger seat. “You’re with me, kid. Taehyung too.”

Jungkook hesitated, just for a second, glancing at Seokjin.

Seokjin, as expected, was already getting into the other car with Namjoon and Jimin, not looking back.

Jungkook exhaled. Just a little longer.

Jungkook looked out the window seeing the area around HYBE entrance jammed with fans waiting to see BTS almost reunited. Walking through the lobby felt surreal.

Jungkook had spent years in and out of this building, but stepping inside after so long—after everything—felt like entering a time capsule. Like no time had passed, even though everything had changed.

And yet, some things hadn’t.

Because standing near the elevators, arms crossed, expression unreadable, was Min Yoongi.
For a second, no one spoke.

Then—

“Alright, alright,” Yoongi drawled, rolling his shoulders. “Who’s crying first?”

Before anyone could answer, Jimin practically lunged at him. “Hyung!”

Yoongi let out an exaggerated grunt as Jimin crushed him in a hug, but his hands came up to pat Jimin’s back anyway. “Aish, I should’ve known it’d be you.”

“You better have known,” Jimin sniffed. “You missed us, right?”

“Hmm.” Yoongi smirked. “I missed my peace and quiet.”

Jimin smacked his arm.

That was all it took.

The next thing Yoongi knew, he was being tackled by a group hug—Hoseok wrapping an arm around his shoulder, Namjoon ruffling his hair, Taehyung half-draping himself over his back. Jungkook, however, was the last to step forward.

Yoongi looked at him, eyebrow raised. “What, no hug?”

Jungkook scoffed, pretending to hesitate. “I dunno… do you deserve it, hyung?”

Yoongi rolled his eyes and just pulled him in.
Jungkook melted into the embrace, his throat tightening. Now, finally, they were here again.

“You did well,” Yoongi murmured just loud enough for him to hear.

Jungkook closed his eyes. “Thanks, hyung.”
Seokjin, watching from the side, clapped his hands together. “Alright, since Yoongi survived being smothered, can we please get to work?”

Hoseok grinned. “Someone’s excited.”

“I am excited,” Seokjin huffed. “Because we have ARMY waiting for us.”

They all piled into the familiar lounge, a flood of nostalgia washing over them. The cameras were already set up, their staff waiting to cue them in.

“Yoongi-hyung, you sure you don’t want to join?”
Taehyung asked, plopping onto the couch.

Yoongi shook his head. “Still got a week left. I’ll be in the building, though.”

Hoseok sighed dramatically. “Fine, but don’t act like you’re not watching.”

Yoongi smirked but said nothing.

Then—live.

The moment the broadcast started, the chat exploded. Comments flew in at lightning speed, and a chorus of voices filled the room.
“ARMYYYY!” Hoseok cheered, waving.

“We’re back!” Jimin grinned, throwing up a peace sign.

“Did you miss us?” Namjoon chuckled, reading the flood of messages.

Jungkook leaned in close to the camera, his wide eyes full of mischief. “Guess who survived the military?”

The chat screamed.

Seokjin, ever the entertainer, wiggled his eyebrows. “That’s right! Our little maknae is back and—oh, wait, what’s that? ARMY, did you see his hair?”

Jungkook groaned as Taehyung immediately started ruffling his buzzed hair. “Hyung, stop!”

“It’s so cute,” Jimin cooed, pretending to pinch his cheeks.

“HYUNGS,” Jungkook whined, smacking their hands away.

Laughter filled the room, filling the spaces where time had once created gaps.

The Weverse Live lasted over an hour—talking about their time in the military, their plans for the future, and how much they had missed ARMY. And by the time they signed off, hearts flooded the screen, a digital embrace from the 42 millions watching.

As soon as the cameras were off, they stretched and groaned.

“Man, I forgot how tiring that is,” Taehyung muttered.

Jimin flopped onto the couch. “Can we take a break?”

“Nope,” Namjoon smirked. “Bang PD wants to see us.”

Hoseok let out an exaggerated groan. “The schedule never ends.”

Jungkook just laughed.

Bang Si-hyuk was already waiting when they entered the conference room. The moment they walked in, he grinned. “Look at you all. Feels like old times.”

Namjoon took his usual seat, folding his hands on the table. “We’re ready.”

Bang PD chuckled. “I’m glad to hear it, because we’ve got a lot to talk about.”

The next hour was a whirlwind.

A reunion album—something deeply personal, something reflecting everything they had gone through.

Restarting Run BTS—because nothing made ARMY happier than their chaotic antics.

A possible Bon Voyage in Switzerland—Seokjin literally cheered at that.

A new season of In the SOOP—Jimin immediately demanded a bigger bathtub this time.

And then—the big one.

A year-long world tour.

Silence filled the room.

Jungkook’s heart pounded. A full year. Every continent. Every stage.

Seokjin looked around at them, his eyes scanning each face. Then, he grinned.

“BTS is back!”

The energy outside HYBE was electric. After the whirlwind meeting, the members were going to meet their respective families.

Hundreds of fans had gathered despite the late hour, their voices carrying through the streets as security worked to maintain order. Cameras flashed in the dark, the occasional chant of a name rising above the hum of the crowd.

Jungkook peered through the tinted windows of the SUV, watching as they passed through the mass of people. His fans were relentless, waving banners, holding up phones, calling out to him. Welcome home, Jungkook!

A part of him wanted to roll the window down, to wave properly, to acknowledge their unwavering support. But he knew better. This moment wasn’t just for them—it was for him.

And more importantly, for Seokjin.

From the car ahead, Seokjin maintained his professional demeanor, his posture relaxed but unreadable as he sat in the backseat. He had played this role for years—the cool, composed idol who took everything in stride. But Jungkook knew the truth. Knew that behind the sunglasses and polite nods, Seokjin was just as impatient as he was.

They had waited long enough.

When Jungkook’s car pulled up to his Itaewon house, the sheer number of fans waiting outside was staggering. The property had been chosen carefully—enough privacy to keep things manageable, but not so secure that it raised suspicion. It was meant to be a home base, a place he could use for work, for lives, for meet-ups with the members.

But it wasn’t home.

The fans screamed as he stepped out, his manager leading him up the driveway. Jungkook waved, offering a few words of gratitude before stepping inside.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and fully furnished—but empty in the ways that mattered.
His duffel bag hit the floor with a soft thud. He looked around, taking it all in. The perfectly curated space, the kitchen stocked with his favorite snacks, the studio room waiting for him to create again.

All things Seokjin had made sure were there.
A ruse. A beautifully crafted lie.

Because this was never meant to be where he stayed.

His real home was waiting.

The vigil by fans outside his home made it difficult for him to leave unseen but they knew this was going to happen so had alternate plans put in place. The building next door to the house had direct access to use as shortcut without being seen. Quickly he walked to where the company car was waiting to drive him to the designated spot.

Meanwhile, Seokjin’s car was already moving through the city, heading toward the designated spot. It was a necessary inconvenience—leaving HYBE separately, avoiding suspicion, making sure no one connected the dots.

Thirty minutes later, the vehicle slowed to a stop in a quiet underground parking lot.

Seokjin stepped out, adjusting his cap as he made his way to his personal car. He didn’t have to wait long.

Another vehicle pulled in moments later.

Jungkook.

The second the door opened, Jungkook was moving. Not running—not like he wanted to—but walking with purpose, with quiet urgency.
Seokjin barely had time to react before Jungkook was there, standing inches away, eyes locked onto his.

“You’re here,” Jungkook whispered, voice thick with emotion. “You’re actually here.”

Seokjin tightened his hold. “I never left.”

Silence stretched between them, the weight of three years pressing into the space where words failed.

Then, after a long moment, Seokjin exhaled, pressing a hand to Jungkook’s cheek. “Come on. Let’s go home.”

Jungkook nodded, stepping back only to get into the passenger seat.

An hour away from Seoul, their real life waited. A quiet home near the ocean, hidden away from the world. A place where they could finally be
together, without prying eyes, without pretense.
As Seokjin pulled onto the road, Jungkook reached across the console, lacing their fingers together.
Seokjin glanced at him, then squeezed his hand.
No more waiting. No more distance.

They were finally home.

The drive to their real home was quiet, but not in the way that felt awkward. It was the kind of silence filled with meaning, heavy with years of longing, of moments stolen and moments missed.
Jungkook kept their fingers intertwined, his thumb brushing over Seokjin’s knuckles absentmindedly.

Seokjin glanced at him, amused. “You’re really not letting go, huh?”

Jungkook hummed, still staring at their hands. “Not a chance, yeobo.”

Seokjin’s lips curled into a soft smile, but he didn’t tease further. He understood.

The car ride stretched on, the city lights fading into the distance as the roads turned quieter, leading them eastward toward the coast. The further they drove, the more the tension in Jungkook’s shoulders melted away.

Here, there were no cameras. No schedules. No need to pretend.

Here, they were just them.

When they finally arrived, the house was bathed in moonlight, the sound of the ocean waves crashing in the distance.

Jungkook stepped out of the car, taking a deep breath of the salty air. His heart ached in the best way—this was where they belonged.

Seokjin barely had time to open the front door before Jungkook was pressing in behind him, arms sliding around his waist, face tucked into the curve of his neck.

Seokjin froze for a beat, then exhaled a soft chuckle. “Eager, are we?”

Jungkook tightened his hold. “Three years, yeobo. Three.”

The teasing faded from Seokjin’s expression. He turned in Jungkook’s arms, pressing a hand to his cheek. “I know,” he murmured. “I know.”

For a moment, they just stood there, drinking each other in. The moonlight caught on the sharp lines of Jungkook’s jaw, the gentle warmth in Seokjin’s gaze.

Then, slowly, Seokjin leaned in, pressing a kiss to Jungkook’s forehead. A lingering touch—tender, patient.

Jungkook closed his eyes at the contact, something fragile in his chest unraveling.
When Seokjin pulled back, Jungkook’s lips quirked into a small pout. “That’s it?”

Seokjin laughed, shaking his head. “Come inside first.”

Jungkook followed without hesitation, stepping into the home that had been waiting for them. Everything was just as they had left it during their stolen moments over the years. Familiar. Safe.

The door barely clicked shut before Seokjin pulled Jungkook in, his grip firm yet desperate, as if letting go would make him disappear. There was no hesitation, no space for words—not yet. Only the raw, burning need to feel each other again.

Their lips met in a slow, claiming kiss, the kind that spoke of years spent apart, of longing left unsaid. Seokjin led, his hands mapping Jungkook’s body with familiarity, but also rediscovery.

Jungkook shivered at the touch, surrendering completely.

“You’re mine,” Seokjin whispered against Jungkook’s lips, his fingers tracing over his jaw before sliding down his chest. “You always have been.”

Jungkook exhaled shakily, his hands gripping Seokjin’s waist. “And I always will be.”

Seokjin took his time, memorizing Jungkook all over again, worshipping him with his lips, his hands, his voice. Every brush of fingers, every press of lips was a vow—an unspoken promise that, no matter what, they would always return to each other.

Seokjin barely managed a teasing breath, “Someone’s eager—” before Jungkook cut him off, capturing his lips in a searing kiss.

This wasn’t careful or tentative. It wasn’t the slow, gentle reconnection they had imagined in the quiet moments before sleep during their time apart.
This was raw. Desperate.

A culmination of every moment they had spent yearning for each other—every hushed call, every stolen night, every agonizing second spent pretending to be just friends.

Seokjin gasped into Jungkook’s mouth as he felt strong hands press against his back, pulling him impossibly closer. Jungkook’s lips moved hungrily against his, demanding, taking, reclaiming.

“You don’t know,” Jungkook murmured against his lips between heated kisses, “how many times I dreamed about this.”

Seokjin shivered at the sheer intensity in Jungkook’s voice. “Tell me.”

Jungkook’s breath was ragged as he pressed hot, open-mouthed kisses down Seokjin’s jawline, trailing down his neck. “I dreamed about touching you without having to look over my shoulder. About kissing you without timing it down to the second.”

Seokjin let out a sharp exhale as Jungkook bit down lightly against his pulse.

“I dreamed about coming home to you,” Jungkook whispered, voice breaking with emotion as he pulled back just enough to search Seokjin’s face, his dark eyes filled with love, desire, longing. “And now I don’t have to wake up.”

Seokjin’s heart clenched. He cupped Jungkook’s face, brushing his thumb over his cheek. “You don’t,” he whispered. “You never will again.”

“Jungkook—”

“I need you,” Jungkook admitted, burying his face into Seokjin’s neck, voice thick with want and something deeper. “I need all of you.”

Their movements were synchronized as they moved through the familiar spaces, shedding their clothes along the way—a jacket on the chair, a shirt on the floor. It was like a dance they’d practiced in secret, in their minds, over countless lonely nights.

When they reached the bed, Seokjin’s hand stopped Jungkook’s, turning him to face him. His eyes were filled with a gentle urgency. “Look at me,” he said softly, his voice a caress in the quiet. Jungkook met his gaze, and Seokjin’s thumb brushed over his bottom lip. “I want to remember this moment forever.”

Their kiss was a declaration, a promise, a reunion of hearts and bodies. Jungkook’s hands slid up Seokjin’s bare chest, feeling every beat of his heart, every inch of him that had been missed. Seokjin’s touch was sure, his kisses tender yet demanding, leaving Jungkook trembling.

As they sank into the soft mattress, the outside world faded away. There were no more secrets, no more fears—only the truth of their love, laid bare.

Seokjin’s hands roamed Jungkook’s body, tracing the lines of his abs, his hips, his thighs. Jungkook’s eyes fluttered shut, lost in the sensation. “You’re so beautiful,” Seokjin murmured, his breath warm against Jungkook’s ear.

Jungkook felt a blush creep up his neck. “You make me feel that way,” he confessed, his voice a shaky whisper.

Their bodies moved in a silent conversation, a rhythm they hadn’t lost despite the years. They knew each other’s hearts, and now they were rediscovering every curve, every line that had changed, every inch of skin that had missed the other’s touch.

The room grew warmer, their breaths quicker. Their kisses grew more urgent, their hands more insistent. Jungkook’s fingers curled into the sheets, his body arching as Seokjin’s mouth traveled down his chest, leaving a trail of fire.

Seokjin paused, looking up with a question in his eyes. Jungkook nodded, a silent plea. Seokjin took Jungkook in, his eyes filled with adoration. Then, he leaned down, his mouth enveloping Jungkook in a way that had him crying out.

Their passion grew, each touch and kiss a declaration of the love they had never been able to fully express. The years of yearning were palpable, a force driving them closer, making every sensation more intense.

The climax hit them like a wave, a crescendo of feeling that had been building for far too long. Jungkook’s eyes squeezed shut, his body shaking as Seokjin whispered sweet nothings into his ear, his hand steady and sure.

As they lay tangled together, their breathing gradually returning to normal, Jungkook whispered, “I love you.”

Seokjin pulled him closer, pressing a gentle kiss to Jungkook’s forehead. “I know,” he murmured. “And I’ve loved you every second of those three years, even when we were apart.”

Jungkook’s eyes searched Seokjin’s, a silent plea for reassurance, for the promise that this wasn’t just a fleeting dream. Seokjin’s arms wrapped around him, holding him tightly. “You’re here, and you’re real,” he said, his voice a warm, soothing balm.

Jungkook took a deep breath, letting the words sink in, letting the reality of Seokjin’s love wash over him. He leaned into the embrace, his heart racing. “I’ve missed you so much,” he whispered.

Seokjin’s hands slid down Jungkook’s back, pulling him closer still. “I’ve missed you too, Kookie. More than you could ever know.”

Jungkook’s eyes grew dark with need, with passion, and before Seokjin could say another word, Jungkook was straddling him, their bodies aligning in a way that felt so natural, so perfect.

He rode Seokjin with a frenzy that seemed to say, “If I don’t do this, if I don’t feel you, you’ll disappear again. If I don’t hold onto you, I’ll lose you once more to the cruel hands of time and fate.”

Seokjin’s hands gripped Jungkook’s hips, guiding him, urging him on as he watched the younger man’s face contort with pleasure. His own need was growing, but he held back, focused solely on making Jungkook feel loved, cherished, and desired.

Their eyes never left each other’s, the connection between them so intense it was almost painful. Jungkook’s movements grew more frantic, his breath coming in shallow pants as he chased his release.

Seokjin could feel Jungkook’s muscles tightening around him, the warmth building, and he knew he was close. With a final, desperate push, Jungkook threw his head back, a guttural moan escaping his lips as he came apart in Seokjin’s arms.

The sound of Jungkook’s release was like music to Seokjin’s ears, and it was all he needed to let go.

He rolled them over, Jungkook’s legs wrapping around him instinctively, his eyes never leaving Jungkook’s face. Seokjin kissed him hard, his tongue delving deep, mimicking the rhythm of his hips as he thrust into him. Jungkook’s nails dug into his back, his eyes squeezed shut with the intensity of it all.

With every stroke, Jungkook’s cries grew louder, a mix of pain and pleasure that only served to drive Seokjin wilder. He whispered sweet nothings into Jungkook’s ear, telling him how much he was loved, how much he had missed him.

Then, without warning, Jungkook’s body tightened around him like a vice. His scream was one of pure ecstasy, and Seokjin felt the explosion of his orgasm shudder through Jungkook’s body. He didn’t stop, didn’t hold back, giving Jungkook everything he had as he chased his own release.

The moment was explosive, their bodies trembling together as they reached the peak of their passion. Jungkook’s eyes flew open, meeting Seokjin’s, and in that instant, they were one.

Seokjin’s own climax hit like a tidal wave, crashing through him, leaving him gasping for air. He collapsed onto Jungkook, their hearts hammering in unison, their skin slick with sweat.

For a moment, there was nothing but the sound of their harsh breathing, their hearts beating together in a rhythm that was uniquely theirs.

They lay there, tangled in each other’s arms, the warmth of their bodies a stark contrast to the cold, empty years that had separated them.

Slowly, Seokjin pulled out, his movements gentle despite the desperate need that still coursed through his veins. Jungkook whimpered at the loss, his legs still shaking.

With a soft smile, Seokjin picked Jungkook up, bridal style, cradling him against his chest. Jungkook wrapped his arms around Seokjin’s neck, his eyes wide with surprise. “What are you doing?”

“I want to take care of you,” Seokjin murmured, his voice a soothing balm to Jungkook’s frayed nerves. The shower was a warm cocoon, the water cascading over their bodies as they stepped in. Seokjin’s hands were tender as he washed Jungkook, every touch a silent promise of care and protection. Jungkook’s eyes drifted shut, his head resting on Seokjin’s shoulder.

The water washed away the sweat, the remnants of their passion, and the years of pain. As they stood there, cleaning each other, it was as if they were also washing away the past.

Their kisses grew gentle, sweet, a stark contrast to the fiery passion that had just consumed them. Under the spray, Seokjin’s hands roamed Jungkook’s body with a newfound tenderness, his eyes filled with a love so deep it was almost overwhelming.

Jungkook felt his heart swell, his chest tightening with emotion. “Thank you, yeobo” he whispered, his voice barely carrying over the sound of the water.

Seokjin just kissed him again, his eyes saying everything his words could not.

The shower turned steamy as their passion reignited, Seokjin’s hands sliding down Jungkook’s wet body, finding his hardening length once more. Jungkook gasped, his hips jerking involuntarily.

Seokjin lifted Jungkook’s leg, wrapping it around his waist, and pushed him against the tiled wall. Jungkook’s eyes went wide, his breath hitching as Seokjin entered him again, filling him completely. The water sluiced over them, mingling with their cries of pleasure.

Their bodies moved together in a dance that had been three years in the making. Each thrust from Seokjin was met with an eager moan from Jungkook, his fingers digging into the older man’s shoulders.

Their rhythm grew faster, more frantic. Jungkook’s head fell back, his eyes fluttering closed as the pressure built within him. Seokjin’s grip tightened, his strokes growing deeper, more powerful. Jungkook felt himself slipping away, lost in the sensation of being so utterly claimed by the man he loved.

And when they reached the peak together, their voices echoed through the small space—Jungkook’s a desperate cry, Seokjin’s a guttural groan. They were shaken to their very cores, bodies trembling with the intensity of their release.

As the aftershocks subsided, Seokjin carefully lowered Jungkook’s leg, his arms still supporting him. They clung to each other, the water cascading over them, mixing with their tears of relief and joy.

They kissed, slow and deep, tasting each other, feeling the love that had never truly left them. It was a kiss that promised forever, a kiss that sealed their bond once and for all.

When they finally stepped out of the shower, wrapped in towels, their skin still flushed from the heat, Jungkook looked at Seokjin with wonder. “We’re really here, aren’t we?”

Seokjin nodded, a soft smile playing on his lips. “We’re really here, Kookie. And we’re never letting go again.”

They stumbled back to the bed, their legs unsteady, their hearts still racing. The warmth of their bodies and the scent of their love lingered in the air as they curled around each other, finally whole.

Jungkook’s head rested on Seokjin’s chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. He knew that no matter what the future held, this was where he belonged.

For now, they had each other, and that was enough. They had survived the storm of the past three years, and together, they would face whatever came next.

And as they drifted off to sleep, tangled in the embrace that had been denied them for so long, they knew that their love was stronger than any obstacle they could ever face.

Seokjin swallowed hard, threading his fingers through Jungkook’s hair before tugging lightly, forcing him to meet his gaze.

“You have me,” he promised, voice steady despite the pounding of his heart. “You always have.”
Jungkook’s lips parted slightly, his grip tightening.
Then, with careful steps, he carried Seokjin further into the house, their kisses growing deeper, more feverish, leaving behind the weight of the past three years—

And finally, finally stepping into the future that was always meant to be theirs.

Jungkook rested his head against Seokjin’s chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. His fingers traced mindless patterns over Seokjin’s skin, the warmth between them keeping him grounded.

But then, something shifted.

Jungkook swallowed, his breath unsteady. Seokjin felt it before he heard it—the slight tremor in Jungkook’s exhale, the way his grip on Seokjin’s waist tightened as if he was afraid of slipping away.

Seokjin frowned. “Jungkook?”

Jungkook didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he lifted himself slightly, resting his chin against Seokjin’s chest as his eyes—glassy, filled with unshed tears—searched Seokjin’s face.

Seokjin’s breath caught. “Hey,” he murmured, reaching up to cup Jungkook’s cheek. “What’s wrong?”

Jungkook’s lips trembled as he let out a shaky breath. “I don’t—” He bit his lip, his voice breaking. “I don’t want to keep pretending.”

Seokjin’s chest tightened.

Jungkook clenched his fists in the sheets. “Three years, hyung. Ten years of stolen moments, hidden meetings, pretending in front of cameras like you’re just my brother, my hyung, when you’re everything to me…then three years of being apart…” His voice cracked, his tears finally slipping free.

Seokjin felt his own throat tighten. “I know,” he whispered, thumb brushing away Jungkook’s tears.

Jungkook inhaled shakily, his fingers digging into Seokjin’s skin. “I know we can’t tell the world. I know we’ll never be able to walk down the street holding hands or go on dates like normal couples. I know what this country would do to us if they ever found out.” His voice wavered, raw with pain. “But I don’t care about any of that anymore.”

Seokjin’s heart pounded.

Jungkook leaned down, pressing their foreheads together, his breath warm and uneven. “I don’t care if we have to keep hiding. I don’t care if it’s just between us and the people who love us. I just—” He let out a soft, broken sob. “I just want to be yours forever.”

Seokjin felt something inside him shatter.
Jungkook’s grip tightened, his tears falling freely now. “Yeobo, please… Marry me.”

Seokjin sucked in a sharp breath.

Jungkook squeezed his eyes shut, his lips trembling as he pleaded. “I don’t need a wedding. I don’t need rings or an announcement. I just need you. I just need us.” He shook his head. “I can’t keep living like this, waiting for some future where it’s safe—it’ll never be safe. But I don’t want to wait anymore. I want to be yours. Really yours.”

Seokjin had always been the one to think logically. He had always been the one to hold back, to be careful, to remind Jungkook of the risks. But now, looking at the man he loved more than anything—desperate, vulnerable, begging to be bound to him forever—logic didn’t matter anymore.

Nothing mattered but Jungkook.

Seokjin swallowed hard, blinking away his own tears as he cupped Jungkook’s face with both hands, pulling him into the softest kiss.

Jungkook melted into it, his body shaking, his sobs muffled against Seokjin’s lips.

When Seokjin pulled away, he rested his forehead against Jungkook’s, his own voice barely above a whisper.

“Okay,” he murmured. “Let’s do it.”

Jungkook’s breath hitched, his eyes widening. “Yeobo—”

Seokjin smiled, brushing a thumb over Jungkook’s cheek. “Let’s get married.”

A sob broke from Jungkook’s lips as he buried his face in Seokjin’s neck, clutching him tightly.

Seokjin held him just as fiercely, pressing soft kisses to Jungkook’s hair, whispering reassurances, letting Jungkook feel every ounce of love he had.

They didn’t need the world’s approval.

They didn’t need an audience.

They just needed each other.

And now, finally, they were truly bound—forever.

A week had passed since their reunion, and Seokjin and Jungkook had spent every moment they could together. There was no more waiting, no more sneaking around under the guise of work. They were free—in the only way they could be.
But as they sat at the long conference table in HYBE’s executive meeting room, surrounded by their members, Bang PD, and a few trusted staff, Jungkook still felt the familiar pang of nervousness.

Not because he was unsure.

Because this moment was everything.

His fingers fidgeted with the silver rings on his hand, his heart pounding against his ribs. He glanced to the side, catching Seokjin’s profile—the sharp lines of his jaw, the slight crease between his brows as he gathered his thoughts. God, I love him.

It wasn’t new. That feeling had lived in him for years, expanding, deepening, becoming something he could no longer contain.

But today—today, he was going to make it official.
The room was alive with conversation. Jimin and Taehyung were whispering about something conspiratorial, Yoongi was sipping his coffee with a look of quiet amusement, and Namjoon was casually flipping through a document while occasionally glancing up.

They all looked so at ease—because they knew.
Seokjin cleared his throat. The chatter died instantly, all eyes shifting toward them.

“We have something to tell you,” Seokjin said, his voice even.

There was no tension. No dramatic shock. Just quiet anticipation.

Jungkook inhaled. “We’re getting married.”

A pause.

Then—

“What?” Namjoon blinked.

Taehyung’s brows shot up. “You’re serious?”

“You’re getting married?” Jimin echoed, eyes widening.

Yoongi huffed out a laugh, shaking his head. “Of course, you are.”

Hobi smacked the table, grinning. “I knew something was up, but damn—I didn’t expect you to drop this on us today.”

Taehyung let out a low whistle, leaning back in his chair. “Well, Jungkook, you finally did it, huh? Pulled a full-on Crash Landing on You move and refused to let Seokjin-hyung go.”

Jungkook groaned, running a hand down his face. “Hyung, please.”

Jimin gasped. “Wait—does that make Seokjin-hyung the rich heiress who accidentally fell into the arms of a soldier?”

“More like Jungkook forced himself into Seokjin’s unit,” Yoongi muttered.

Seokjin chuckled. “If anyone’s the heiress, it’s Jungkook. He was the one desperate to stay with me.”

“I was,” Jungkook admitted, rubbing his nape, “and I have no regrets.” His voice softened, his gaze drifting back to Seokjin. “Not a single one.”

Jimin clutched his chest. “Oh, fuck, I am going to cry.”

Namjoon let out a long breath, shaking his head. “Okay, let’s get back on track. When? How?”

Seokjin straightened. “Switzerland. During Bon Voyage. It’s one of the few places where foreign same-sex couples can marry confidentially. For extra security, we’ll have everyone sign NDAs. “Hyung, can you help us with the NDA?” Seokjin looking at BangPD. It’ll be a small ceremony—just us…give the staff day off to explore.”

This time, the weight in the room changed. It wasn’t shock or amusement—it was something heavier.

Namjoon exhaled, his fingers threading together. “So… this is really happening.”

Jungkook nodded. His heart pounded. “I’ve wanted this for so long.” His voice wavered, his fingers curling into fists. “We’ve spent years hiding. Years pretending. I know we can’t be public—not without ruining everything—but I don’t care. I just want to be his.”

Silence.

Then Seokjin reached across the table, grasping Jungkook’s hand in front of everyone. “You already are,” he murmured.

Jungkook sucked in a shaky breath. But I want more.

Seokjin turned his attention to the others, his expression uncharacteristically serious. “Jungkook means everything to me. He’s been my best friend, my partner, my constant in every storm. He is the person who sees every part of me—the good, the bad, the parts I don’t even like about myself. And yet… he stays.”

Jungkook felt his throat close up.

“I never thought I’d have this,” Seokjin admitted, his voice growing thick. “But he never let me go. Not once.”

Jimin’s lower lip wobbled. “Oh my god—”

Namjoon closed his eyes, inhaling deeply, as if composing himself.

Hobi pressed a hand to his chest. “Hyung, please—”

Yoongi sighed. “I swear, you two…” But his tone was impossibly fond.

Jungkook swallowed hard. His heart was aching—full, bursting, desperate. He squeezed Seokjin’s hand tighter. “Then let’s do it.”

Taehyung clapped his hands. “Alright! I’m walking Jungkook down the aisle.”

Hobi cackled. “Jimin can be the flower boy.”

“I will be,” Jimin confirmed, eyes still teary.

Yoongi huffed a quiet laugh. “I hope you two are ready for how much we’re going to tease you for this.”

Bang PD, who had remained silent through most of the conversation, finally spoke. “I’ll get the NDA going, I’ll help you two with confidentiality. As long as this stays locked down, I have no objections. But you know the risks.”

Seokjin met his gaze. “We do.”

Jungkook’s grip on his hand tightened.

Bang PD nodded. “Then let’s make it happen.”

The room erupted into more laughter and teasing, but beneath it all, the weight of what they were about to do settled deep.

Jungkook looked at Seokjin, saw the sheer adoration in his eyes, and felt something in his chest tighten.

He had dreamed of this moment for years.
And now, it was finally coming true.

Filming Bon Voyage in Switzerland felt surreal. The stunning landscapes, crisp mountain air, and the rare chance to just be together as seven again—it was perfect. The cameras captured their usual antics, the teasing, the laughter, and the warmth of their bond, which time and distance had never weakened. They tried everything from skiing to snowboarding to hiking the alps to paragliding to hand gliding to canyoning in interlaken to downhill cycling doing the wildest most breathtaking things possible.

But beneath the lighthearted moments, there was something more.

A quiet secret that only they and Bang PD knew.
Jungkook and Seokjin were preparing for their wedding.

It was happening.

After years of hidden glances, stolen moments, and a love that had survived separation, scrutiny, and the weight of their careers, they were finally going to be bound to each other.

And no one—not the world, not their industry, not the expectations placed upon them—could take that away.

The members gathered in their cozy Swiss chalet, nestled deep in the countryside. The fire crackled softly, casting a warm glow over the room as they all lounged in thick sweaters and blankets, cups of hot chocolate and tea in their hands.

Despite the relaxed atmosphere, there was an unspoken weight in the air.

Jimin was the first to break the silence. “So,” he started, tilting his head, “you two are really doing this.”

Jungkook, curled against Seokjin’s side on the couch, let out a soft chuckle. “Yeah. We are.”
Taehyung sighed dramatically. “I can’t believe we’re in our own version of a K-drama. Crash Landing on You doesn’t even compare.”

Seokjin smirked. “Please, our story is way more dramatic.”

“Yeah,” Yoongi added dryly, “except instead of North and South Korea, it’s you two versus the entire entertainment industry.”

Jungkook snorted. “And instead of a warzone, we got dispatch.”

Namjoon, who had been quietly watching, finally spoke. “I have to say, I knew this day would come, but hearing it out loud… it still feels unreal.” He exhaled, looking down at his mug. “You two have been through so much together. And now you’re finally getting the ending you deserve.”

“Technically,” Hobi pointed out, “it’s not an ending. It’s a beginning.”

Jungkook smiled, glancing at Seokjin. “Exactly.”

Seokjin squeezed Jungkook’s hand. “We’re going to have a small ceremony here, but our families are sad they can’t be here.”

“They understand, though,” Jungkook added. “We talked to them, and they support us completely. We’re planning to have an intimate Korean wedding with them later.”

Taehyung grinned. “You two? A second wedding? I can’t wait to see you cry twice.”

Jimin gasped dramatically. “Oh my God, double the wedding gifts? I love this.”

Yoongi rolled his eyes. “You’re all missing the important part here. It means I have to sit through another one of these emotional ordeals.”

“You’re going to cry again, aren’t you?” Hobi teased.

Yoongi scoffed. “I don’t cry.”

“Yeah, sure,” Namjoon muttered, sipping his tea.
Seokjin chuckled before glancing at Jungkook, his voice turning softer. “It just feels right, you know? Making it official with our families later. They’ve supported us for so long, and they deserve to be part of it, too.”

Jungkook nodded. “But tomorrow… tomorrow is just for us.”

The chapel was hidden deep in the Swiss countryside, surrounded by towering trees and untouched snow. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautifully secluded—exactly what they needed.
Inside, only seven people stood waiting.
No cameras. No staff. Just their family, in every way that mattered.

Jungkook stood at the front, dressed in an elegant ivory suit. He adjusted his cuffs, his fingers trembling slightly—not from nerves, but from the sheer weight of the moment.

And then the doors opened.

Seokjin stepped inside, also clad in ivory, the candlelight casting a soft glow around him.

Jungkook’s breath caught in his throat.

He had always been beautiful.

But today, he was everything.

Jungkook barely registered the officiant’s words. His world had narrowed down to Seokjin—the warmth of his hand, the steady way he looked at him, the overwhelming love in his eyes.

Then, it was time for their vows.

Seokjin spoke first.
“Jungkook… you are the bravest person I have ever known. Not because of your strength, not because of your talent—but because you choose to love so fearlessly, even when the world tells you not to. You have given me a love I never thought I deserved, a home I never imagined I’d have. You are my greatest joy, my safest place. And I promise, for as long as I live, to love you in every way I can. Even if the world doesn’t see it, you will always know it.”

Jungkook’s vision blurred.

Then it was his turn.
“Hyung… I have loved you for so long, in so many ways. From the moment I knew what love was, it was you. You have been my best friend, my mentor, my partner in every moment that mattered. And now, you are my husband. I promise to love you fiercely, to fight for you in all the ways we need to, and to never let anything come between us. Even if the world is against us, I will stand by you. Always.”

There were no dry eyes.

Jimin openly sobbed into Taehyung’s shoulder.
Hobi sniffled, wiping his eyes dramatically. “Damn it, you guys.”

Yoongi coughed, looking away as he discreetly swiped at his eyes.

Namjoon exhaled shakily, his lips pressed together. “I hate how much this is making me feel.”

Taehyung grinned through his own watery eyes. “We’re all so down bad for you guys.”

Bang PD, uncharacteristically emotional, clapped a hand over his mouth, shaking his head. “I should’ve brought tissues.”

Then, the final words came—

“You may now kiss.”

Jungkook didn’t hesitate.

He surged forward, hands cupping Seokjin’s face as their lips met in a kiss that held years of longing, devotion, and unbreakable love.

The world didn’t know.

The cameras weren’t here.

But this moment was theirs.

And that was all that mattered.

The soft hum of the television filled the dimly lit bedroom, the glow from the screen casting gentle shadows across the room. Seokjin and Jungkook lay tangled together beneath warm sheets, their bodies naturally drawn to each other even in sleep. The years had only deepened their bond—each moment together another stitch in the life they had quietly built, away from prying eyes but full of love that needed no validation.

Jungkook stirred first, his hand absentmindedly tracing circles over Seokjin’s bare shoulder. “Yeobo,” he murmured, voice husky from sleep, “it’s about to start.”

Seokjin grumbled something incoherent into Jungkook’s chest before reluctantly peeling his eyes open. “Too early for politics.”

Jungkook huffed a quiet laugh, pressing a kiss to Seokjin’s temple. “You say that, but you’ll be crying in five minutes.”

Seokjin scoffed but didn’t argue as he propped himself up on one elbow, blinking at the television. The screen showed the South Korean National Assembly, packed with officials and press, all waiting for the final announcement. This was it—the vote that would decide the future for countless people in their country.

The news anchor’s voice was calm but heavy with emotion.

“With an overwhelming majority, South Korea has officially passed legislation recognizing same-sex marriage. Effective immediately, LGBTQ+ couples will have the same legal rights and protections as any other married couple in our nation.”

Silence.

Then, a quiet gasp.

Jungkook’s grip on Seokjin tightened as his throat constricted. He tried to swallow the lump forming, but it was no use. His vision blurred, and before he could stop it, a tear slipped down his cheek.

Seokjin turned to him, his own eyes shimmering, a mix of disbelief and overwhelming relief written across his face. “It actually happened.” His voice was barely above a whisper. “It finally happened.”

Jungkook let out a shaky breath, his hand finding Seokjin’s and squeezing tight. “We waited decades for this,” he whispered. “We hid, we fought, we endured… and now, we exist without fear.”

Seokjin let out a wet chuckle, wiping at his eyes. “God, if 2023 us could see this moment.”

Jungkook exhaled sharply, a bittersweet smile on his lips. “He’d probably still be crying.”

Seokjin nudged him. “And you wouldn’t?”

Jungkook laughed softly before shaking his head, overwhelmed by the sheer weight of the moment. “Hyung,” he murmured, voice thick with emotion, “we can actually be married now.”

Seokjin turned to face him fully, eyes searching his. “We are married, Jungkook. Have been for years.”

“I know,” Jungkook whispered, reaching up to cup Seokjin’s face. “But now… we don’t have to hide it anymore.”

Seokjin exhaled shakily, his lips pressing together before he pulled Jungkook into a deep, lingering kiss. It wasn’t rushed or desperate—just a soft, reverent meeting of lips, filled with everything they couldn’t put into words.

When they pulled away, Seokjin rested his forehead against Jungkook’s, a teary smile breaking through. “We made it, didn’t we?”
Jungkook nodded, his thumb brushing against Seokjin’s cheek. “Yeah, hyung. We did.”

Outside their bedroom window, the city of Seoul continued as always—cars moving, people walking, life going on as if the world hadn’t just changed forever.

But in this moment, in their quiet sanctuary, everything had changed.

For the first time, they weren’t just Jin and Jungkook, two men desperately in love, forced to live in secrecy.

They were husbands, in the eyes of the world.
And that was everything.

oice broke through the silence.

"Congratulations, Seokjin and Jungkook!"

The dam broke. Cheers erupted, reporters clamoring to be heard, but beneath it all, one thing was clear—ARMY was still with them.

Seokjin let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding.

Jungkook squeezed his hand under the table, his voice barely above a whisper. “We did it, hyung.”

Seokjin turned to him, his lips curving into the smallest, most heartfelt smile. “Yeah. We did.”

For the first time in their lives, they were free.
And they were together.
