Chapter 1
The big day
At a majestic wedding venue stood the golden boy of the family, the king of all parties, the master of chaos, Josh chen who was greeting the guests with his signature smile and flirtatious manners. However, his mind was in turmoil with the knowledge that the man he had loved for all those years was now marrying his sister, his very own blood.
"He's mine ... he's mine ... he's mine" the thought swirled around his head as he imagined alex beneath him, biting his lip with that smoldering gaze of his as Josh's head dipped in between Alex's legs to taste his ....
"No no no no no, snap out of it" Josh shook his head to clear his thoughts. He has to move on and accept that alex has found happiness even if it wasn't with him. "But We could always force him" the voices in his head argued t Against their heartbroken master with an evil cackle causing Josh's eyes to darkened in consideration before rejecting the thought as a familiar arm wrapped around his shoulder.
Alex volkov smiled at him as they hugged "thank u so much for being here" he said as josh swallowed trying to stop the urge to break down and confess his sins. "No problem, ava is my sister after all" Josh said cooly as alex smiled at him again.
"It was that smile of his" Josh thought watching alex greet the guests, oh how beautiful and rare it was. Josh would do anything for that smile, even if it involved killing himself or others. "Murderer" the voices in his head teased as josh rolled his eyes knowing it definitely wouldn't be his first time doing so.
As the guests continued to arrive alex suddenly stumbled and was about to fall over when josh caught his waist and pulled him back up, unintentionally causing alex to put his palm against josh's chest as their foreheads touched.
Josh couldn't help but notice the shiver running through Alex's body as he obediently gazed downwards submissively. " Hmm ... interesting" josh thought steadying alex before asking him if he were OK with which he replied to with a blush.
"I'm really fine, josh" alex said as josh kept hounding him in between greeting the guests. "Fine people don't just fall to the ground, alex" Josh snapped with a frown as alex sniffled his laugh.
"What's so funny?" Josh asked with a huff however as alex began retirting back, he (alex) suddenly felt a wave of dizziness sweep over him. "Hey, what's wrong?" Josh asked worriedly steadying him as he stumbled yet again.
"I told u, it's nothin-!" Alex's sentence was cut off with a squeal as josh lifted him to his arms and carried him bridal style. "What's are u doing?!" Alex hissed going red and struggling as josh carried him back inside. "U didnt take your meds, did u?" Josh asked as alex shook his head "I thought I could cope without them". "Well, Mr genius, u clearly thought wrong" Josh said as alex pouted "and stop struggling". "Or what?" Alex challenged. "Or ...." Josh's gaze darkened with dominance as alex immediately laid still on Josh's arms.
They finally reached the room and josh set alex down on the stool as he searched his own bag. "I knew something like this would happen so luckily I brought your medicine with me" Josh said walking back to alex with a pill and glass of water.
Alex stood still lost in thought as josh stopped in front of him. "Open" Josh said as alex opened his mouth to receive the pill and almost moaned as Josh's fingers brushed against his tongue. Josh helped wash the pill away with water by tipping Alex's chin up but it was then that their eyes connected.
Time stood still as they both were lost in each other's eyes before Josh's eyes travelled to Alex's lips where a trail of water slipped out. Alex swallowed the water and parted his lips as josh leaned down to claim it just as the door slammed open and jules shrieked "THE BRIDE IS MISSING!"
Chapter 2: Never again.

Hey bestie! It's me again. I've finally figured out how to make this a series so I'll be posting a new chapter weekly (more if I feel nice 😏) and it'll also be in multiple pov's so let's partyyyyy!!! Anyway this chapter is from Alex's pov and I really really hope u guys enjoy it just as much as I do (fingers crossed 🤞) sorry for making this note unnecessarily long by the way but now u may sit back and enjoy the results of my 2am coffee overloaded brain that definitely has studied for my 4 assessments later today. (P.s. ---> I haven't 😊😵)

Chapter 2 - never again
(Alex's pov + narrator)
As the door slammed open and jules burst in, I pulled away from josh so fast that I barely registered what she said.
I almost kissed my best friend who is also the brother to my arranged wife ava on our very own wedding day! Were the volkov's genetically messed up? Or is it just just me? I made a note in my head to see an exorcist after this just to be sure i thought as i slowly got back to my feet and stared at the suddenly fascinating wall, trying to avoid Josh's stare.
"Um, hello? We have a missing bride, people" jules repeated with a frown which made josh finally look away from me and focus on jules while i took a deep relieved breath.
"What do u mean missing?" Josh asked "the ceremony starts in less than an hour. " I went to her dressing room and she wasn't there" jules said looking between alex and josh suspiciously. "How long was this?" Josh asked clearing his throat, jules who hummed before replying "about 2 hours ago"
2 seconds of utter silence passed before my daze shattered as josh yelled "MY BABYSISTER WAS MISSING FOR 2 HOURS AND U ONLY TELL US NOW?!". Jules snapping back as she turned to josh " I thought she was at the toilet! Girls take a while to take that kind of dress off, mr overprotective"
as josh moved to argue again I interrupted them firmly by stating "we need to find her. Immediately" which caused josh to stare at me and perhaps it was a figment of my imagination but I saw a hint of sadness and regret before it was masked by his ever so familiar determinedly stubborn expression, "I'll go to the gardens, jules u check the cameras and alex calm down your guests" Josh said.
We all split up to travel their own path, not knowing what would happen at the future but only knowing that what happened at the dressing room this day should never again be repeated.
Chapter 3: The missing bride
Summary:
Ava chen had run away from her own wedding for reasons still unknown. This is Josh's pov as to what happened and will happen next.

Chapter 3 - the missing bride
Josh's pov
I ran through the Long, winding halls of the overwhelmingly large wedding venue that was filled with members of high society. Josh knew that if the paparazzi hears about this, his beloved sister and his beautiful sin would both be scrutinised by their families and the elites.
He entered a random room and immediately closed his eyes when he saw 2 women passionately making out before looking at them in shock.
Ava and jules broke apart and stumbled away from each other with guilty faces. "What- ...? how- ...?" Josh was at a loss, never in a million years had he anticipated this. "Brother ... I can explain-" ava stuttered when she noticed the furious look Josh had. Never before had Josh looked at her like that, it was a look of betrayal, hurt and unimaginable anger.
"Who's going to tell, alex" Josh said silently. Jules protectively shielded ava "don't talk to her like that" jules snarled protectively. "I already knew" alex said from behind him and chaos descended in silence.
Chapter 4: Avoiding a scandal by planning another

Will ava and jules remain together? What will happen to the wedding? How would this impact alex and josh?

Another late chapter, I'm no longer having a schedule I'm just going to upload whenever I'm free. Year 10's almost as messed up as society.

Chapter 4 - betrayal at its finest
(Alex's pov)
I swallowed the lump in my throat before repeating my statement clearer "I already knew, josh". "What do u mean u already knew?" Josh asked quietly ... dangerously. "I knew that ava and jules are dating" I said as josh looked at me silently.
"Brother, I know I should've told u but- ..." ava started as tears cascaded down her makeup as jules pulled her to an embrace. Perhaps it was Alex's imagination which saw the murderous look that passed through josh swiftly as he gazed at the 2 lovers and a discarded alex but nevertheless Alex's chest rose and fell with anticipation as he gazed at josh.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity josh sighed in resignation "I know all of u have your reasons for not telling me but this is a wedding, half the paparazzi of the continent are here along with Hollywood and others who will go feral".
Ava slumped in her wedding dress "what do we do? Cancelling the wedding is not an option yet it can't be continued like this! "Hush, we'll figure something out" alex said offering her a rare hug which drew glares from both jules and josh causing alex to lightly blush as ava smirked knowingly.
"Only thing we can do is cause trouble so that the wedding can't happen" alex said to which jules smirked "I'll take care of that". And with that smirk alex knew just how deathly fabulous this wedding was about to be.

Chapter 5 - the strategy
(Ava pov)
"The fact that my dearest brother believes me to be this dumb is insulting my identity as a proud member of the Asian community. Like, even someone as dense as my jules could see that the 2 idiots in front of me are definitely not "just best friends"" ava whispered to her lover jules crossing her arms in fustration as she and jules watched alex and josh brainstorm ideas while respectfully eye fucking each other across the room.
"Intense would be the phrase for this, I've never seen him look at another like that " jules smiled, as ava possessively wrapped her arms around her with a hunger in her eyes identical to Josh's.
"Please do that elsewhere" Josh said interrupting ava and jules with an expression that could only be described as repulsion "I think I'm going to be sick". "And the cockblocker of the year goes to Joshua chen, pun intended" alex said rolling his eyes and smiling apologetically at the pair. "Its fine alex, besides I enjoy the horror stricken look on my most distinguished brother's face" ava smiled.
"Then that means you 2 have done more than ..." Josh faltered paling in realization before pointing an accusing finger at jules "you! When I catch you-!". "Ava, jules we'll stick with the original plan, I'll drag this idiot to handle the guests" alex said taking charge as a determined ava and jules nodded.
"Plan? What pla-!" Josh paused his body going rigid as alex knocked him out. "So noisy, but are u sure dragging him across the venue wouldn't be suspicious?" Jules asked as alex chuckled " he should wake up in time and if he doesn't I'll just tell the guests he blacked out drunk ". "Now that even I would believe" jules smirked before jumping off the window and entering the waiting suv outside.
Ava smiled taking Alex's hand "he may be rash but he means well so please take care of him for me". Alex nodded "I promise i will, but will u be OK?"."honestly, I'm not sure but i do know she is the 1 for me ." ava smiled turning to the window as alex nodded walking away supporting a still unconscious josh. "Oh and good luck" ava smirked jumping off the window and joining jules in the car that departed to their forever.
Notes:
After months of fighting a coma which was the result of a car accident and memory loss which was a result of my coma I am finally back stronger than ever to continue this hopefully not flopping masterpiece is something I would've said as they're the lines that unnoticed authors who's English is their second language typically say. However my most gracious trauma dumper Mr gpt advised me to be honest as "honesty is a virtue so if u are interested in my catch up please click the next chapter if u aren't then we shall meet again with a née chapter next week.

Ava and rules have left but the plan to disrupt the wedding has been hindered. What will happen next?

Who says dresses are for girls?
(Alex's pov)
Damn, the guy is ripped. Ripped and very very very heavy. The original idea of causing chaos evaporated the moment my mama, Lucia didik and half the bratva entered the reception.
"Think, alex, think!" I urged tearing my eyes away from the mouthwatering sight of josh lying unconscious, shirt buttons undone as i resumed my aggressive pace in the dressing room to which I somehow miraculously carried that gigantic muscle head to.
The clock continued ticking, ava and rules must have reached past the guards by now. The ceremony is to begin in 10 minutes and I could already hear my 'honorable' guests beginning to be antsy due to the lack of ceremony. And that's when it caught my eye.
"Alex?" Josh groaned sitting up as I smirked at him, the sight making my beautiful *xaok* flinch.
A solid 13 and a half minutes later, I watched my 'bride' to be walk down the aisle, my smile blinding as I watched the familiarly wide shoulders hidden behind the thick veil shake with humiliation.
Our vows were exchanged, josh's voice cracking with barely contained rage as we leant down to kiss, his face hidden by the veil which I lifted for just a fraction of a second to 'kiss my bride'.
As we walked down the aisle, josh stumbled in the dressing multiple times, like a newborn baby who was learning to walk yet each time he did so, the grip by his arm to mine soothed me, reminding me that perhaps ny twisted desires have a hope of becoming reality, my fantasies of a family and home a reality.
