Afterparty

Notes:

This is a continuation of the Logan Marshall-Green/KJ Apa storyline from the BDSM RPS RPG Citadel.

This is a brand new log and has not previously been posted to the now defunct game.

Work Text:

KJ tightens his hold around Logan's shoulders and smiles down at his feet. "You gonna fuck me shilly when we get back to the room?" he slurs, concentrating on each step. His bachelor party was definitely a big fat kinky success, and he has a vague fear of the morning to come.

"Of course," Logan assures KJ, even though he's pretty sure KJ's way too drunk to be fucked 'shilly'. He keeps his lover upright while fishing in his pocket for the keycard and sliding it through the reader. "And then you can sleep in tomorrow. Late as you want."

"That's good. Don't think I'll be making it to breakfast," KJ says, leaning against the wall while Logan gets the door open. "I've decided that two pitchers is a lot of beer," he adds, and lurches to the couch as soon as the door swings wide.

Logan laughs and locks up behind them. "No passing out on the couch," he says, pulling KJ to his feet and over to the bed before he starts undressing him.

"...Yeah. Were you serious, before?" KJ asks, shedding his clothes, one hand on Logan's shoulder for support. "About my nipples?"

"Yes and no," Logan admits after a moment's consideration. "I was mostly just tormenting you but I also kind of like the thought. It'd be really sexy."

KJ shivers at the thought. "Okay," he says once he's naked. "I think--" He straightens up, his face taking on a green tinge. And he races for the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind himself.

Shit. Logan's pretty sure he could've seen that coming. Especially after his own bachelor party. He decides to give KJ his privacy for a moment and gets undressed himself, slipping on a pair of boxers.

It's several shaky minutes before KJ emerges from the bathroom once more. "I don't feel so good," he says, completely unnecessarily, and falls face-first onto the bed.

Logan pulls a bottle of water from the mini-fridge and opens a packet of Tylenol. "I know," he says soothingly, running a hand over KJ's back. "C'mon, sit up. Take these and drink some water."

KJ manages something like a mumbled "yessir" - not up to his usual standards - and sits up. He gulps the pills and water gratefully, then lays his head on Logan's shoulder. "I didn't do anything embarrassing, did I?"

"Not as far as I'm concerned," Logan says, putting his arm around KJ. "You had fun, which you were supposed to do, and you got wasted, which is pretty much the point of bachelor parties," he adds with a soft laugh. "You should get some sleep."

Nodding agreeably, KJ kisses Logan on the cheek. "Okay." He pulls back the covers and slips underneath, so grateful for the pillows beneath his head.

Logan pulls out another bottle of water from the mini-fridge and puts it on the nightstand on KJ's side and then crawls in beside his boy, pressing close, his arm loosely around him, the better not to trigger any more washroom runs. "Love you," he whispers, brushing a kiss across KJ's shoulder.

"Mm-hmm. Love you," KJ murmurs back, already halfway to passing out.

Logan smiles at that and presses another kiss to KJ's bare shoulder before closing his eyes.

When KJ wakes, he instantly wishes he hadn't. His head is throbbing and his stomach still feels unruly, like he vomited out half the lining last night. He groans softly and staggers out of bed to go piss, blindly seeking his path because he's not ready to fully open his eyes.

Having taken his lighter sleeping pills for tonight, Logan half-wakes when KJ does. "Y'okay?" he mumbles, eyes adjusting quickly to the darkness as he watches KJ stumble in the direction of the bathroom.

Since he's already up, KJ seizes the opportunity to wash his face and brush his teeth, trying to rinse away the lingering residue of the bachelor party. He moves deliberately and without his usual bounce, gently lying down next to Logan once more. "My head is killing me," he whispers, though he knows it's sure to be no surprise to his lover.

"Did you take any more Tylenol?" Logan asks, brushing his lips across KJ's shoulder.

"Mmm. Mm-mm," KJ denies with a shake of his head, then groans and presses a hand to his temple. "Oh, my god. Make it stop."

"I'll be right back," Logan promises, slipping out of bed to grab a damp washcloth, more Tylenol and another bottle of water. He returns in a flash, offering the pills and water up to KJ and then placing the folded washcloth across his forehead. "Were you sick again?"

"No." KJ rolls onto his side, hugging a pillow to his chest. "Can't be sick, too busy dying."

Logan bites back a smile - he can't help it, despite how bad he feels for KJ - and repositions the washcloth. "When was the last time you felt like this?" he asks, pretty sure it was before they met.

"In Los Angeles. I was partying... Took a walk on the beach that morning by the driftwood trying to sober up," KJ answers. And then he'd met Logan and hadn't felt like partying anymore, in favor of spending time with his new lover.

"The night before you met me?" Logan says, making sure.

"Yeah. I was partying hard those days. Found that if I kept up the momentum I never really came down and then didn't get as sick..." KJ mumbles, squinting against the dawn light beginning to stream through the curtains.

Logan nods. "I spent a few years like that," he says softly, keeping his voice down, hoping the painkillers will kick in for KJ. "I'm surprised you were able to give it up so easily."

Despite the monster trucks colliding inside his head, KJ smiles. "I found someone worth being sober for," he murmurs, reaching back to link his fingers with his lover's. "It's a lot more fulfilling than hurtling towards self-destruction on my own."

"I'm glad," Logan murmurs in return, giving KJ's hand a squeeze. "And I'm so glad you ended up on that beach that morning."

Looking back with a wince, KJ manages a smile. "Could you... open the window wider?" he asks, gaze darting past Logan's shoulder to the shuttered windows.

"Sure," Logan says quickly, slipping from the bed to do just that. "Better?" he asks, staying by the window so he can open it even wider if KJ needs.

"Yeah. Just needed a little air," KJ mumbles, his eyes slipping shut again.

Logan gets back into bed, pressing close but not too close. "Let me know if you need anything else," he murmurs, rubbing a gentle hand over KJ's shoulder.

"Okay." KJ scoots back to plaster against his lover with a sigh. And wills himself to fall asleep.

A soft snoring lets Logan know KJ's asleep and he removes the washcloth from his forehead, tossing it in the general direction of the bathroom, before snuggling in against KJ, determined to get a bit more sleep while he can as well.
