Work Text:

And this is Bakari, a creature neither Stitchpunk nor Machine called a Stitch Witch. She was created by the Fabrication Machine to blend in with Stitchpunks, and capture their souls when they don't expect it. She carries around one of those old cigarette holders like a staff, and sometimes smokes cigarettes with it if she can find any.
Her tongue, which has a crude replica of the Talisman at the tip is what she utilizes to take Stitchpunks' souls. The souls themselves are stored in a case in her chest, and the tongue coils up beside it when not in use. If a Stitchpunk has their soul taken by her, all is not lost for if she can be hunted down and killed, the souls that she's taken will return to their bodies.
When luring Stitchpunks into her trap, she has a motherly but stern, or seductive and strange personality depending on what kind of Stitchpunks she is dealing with.
She spares no expense on boys, flirting shamelessly with them even if they have established mates..And even if she gets in trouble with the lady Stitchpunks for this, she is still cunning enough to charm her way out of it. Either that or she sneak attacks the unfortunate woman who takes her aside to talk.
Bakari often works in cahoots with a few Skullbeasts under her command to assist her in taking down particularly troublesome groups of Stitchpunks. Her most common counterpart is The Collector, a nasty Skullbeast who captures Stitchpunks with its long tongue and holds them prisoner within a large glass container in its ribcage.
Bakari is heartless, fearless, and has only one motive, hardwired into her by the Fabrication Machine: To complete her mission. That means that once she has set her eyes on a target she finds suitable, she will pursue them with inexhaustible will. Even if she is badly injured or greatly outnumbered, she will do all she can to achieve her set goal.
Bakari cannot be outwitted, and even the most perceptive Stitchpunks may not notice that she is trouble before it is too late for the Fabrication Machine created her from the body of a real Stitchpunk, aiming to have her blend seamlessly into their society.

As for biology, she is probably one of the Fabrication Machine's more intricate designs. The stitches on the outside of her legs, when undone, let out her naga-like snake half. The material that covers her "tail" is bundled up in her legs and thighs when she is posing as a Stitchpunk, and the mechanics that work the tail retreat up into her legs, hips and chest. This extra material and metal make her heavier than most Stitchpunks.
She stands at the average of 6 and a half inches tall, though when in Stitch Witch form she can use her tail to prop herself up higher than she can with legs. This is to enhance her threatening aspect.
She was augmented by the Fabrication Machine as well as the Seamstress to be slender with exaggerated breasts and hips to enhance her allure and physical charm. To further this, she has a pre-programmed habit of provocatively twisting her hips from side to side as she walks.
Bakari's slender physique and long dainty fingers are also mostly for show, but don't be fooled by her feminine appearance, she is FAR tougher than she looks.
